I would give it an enthusiastic 9 out of 10. The only minor gripe is that the ending with Lee J. Cobb's discovery of his own bias was too short. I think it should have had a few more lines. Pivotal point in the film and that is why I docked a point.
Definitely 10 /10, I ´ve seen the movie as a little girl , probably round 9 - 10 y.old, and it had such a profound impact on me even at that age. the whole concept of injustice /justice , how easily it could tilt one way or another. and what a wonderful rightous and brave personality has Henry Fonda´s role, his integrity. its a delight to watch. love this movie.
I have seen it and I give it a 10/10 for a movie that only take place in one setting with 12 characters is good made me want to know what happened it really grasp me into the story
I had really great expectations of that one, especially since I watched a lot of Hitchcock's classics before, but in all honesty, I think there could have been more to "Rope". I really liked the story in the beginning and the middle, but the end lacked the infamous "Hitchcock wow-moment". There wasn't really some sort of surprise in the end.
However the film did have a clear message to it, and that's why I would still rate it pretty good. :)

I haven't seen the original but I did see "12" (2007). A Russian remake, and I thought it was quite good.

My school did this as a play, only with girls too. (So the name was switched to Twelve Angry Jurors.) I was Juror 10.

10/10. A true classic.
I am a fan of most one-room films. I think it forces the writing and character descriptions to be that much richer all round.

I think the only one that actually got the "not guilty" vote started was was jury number 8 dude.
