Don't blame the judge, she could have NQed us for dropping the leash, lol. But she gave me a break because I was a newbie and Astrid got 4th place. We would have gotten 2nd if I had held on to the leash, though, stupid me.
No, dropping the leash is against the rules of the competition. I wasn't playing along, I just messed up, and earned us a 10 point deduction. Oh well, I'll do better next time!
She is *such* a good worker! She will pretty much do anything I ask of her, and happily, too. She was soo great at the show, I could not be more proud.
