It is a slow process and I keep falling back into my effects I got from Levaquin if I do not take what I have found that helps me. I posted below what I take but I was wondering if anybody else had anything else that helped? I have totally lost concentration and the ability to keep my focus etc.. I get strange feelings and numbness from time to time.. This has never gone away for over a year and a half now sleepless nights caused by sometimes not being able to shut down even with sleep aids

I took Levaquin a few times in the last 4 years and had long lasting reactions also. The last time I took it after I had a respiratory infection the side effects never went away. I still suffer from increased pulse rate, insomnia, and other effects that cause me to be depleted. I have found that L-Theanine has helped me to get by day to day to deal with the stuff that continues to go on. L-Theanine is a amino acid that helps with the stress and has other effects that are not yet proven.

Jason would actually appear to be, based on his own comment, a pre-schooler, who managed to get on mommy's computer. If this guy's a sales rep, he sure doesn't have many brain cells, based on the kind of limited response he leaves. Well, it does explain the fact that sales reps usually aren't very bright folks, and/or he is using the cipro he sells...duh...I iz a monkey...duh.....DNA regineration depletion in action folks--more proof--don't take these drugs!

"Jpursley" below is Jason Pursley, a pharmaceutical sales rep for Schering-Plough makers of Cipro. You will find him on the Linkedin website. He left a comment on my site denying nerve and tendon damage caused by quinolones that the FDA issued black box warnings on. Judging by his writing style (or lack thereof), he is probably leaving similar comments elsewhere. Look for him.

Thank you, this guy is an asshole. I'd love to tie him to a chair and force feed him cipro for about 10 weeks like I had to eat it. Then I'd make him wash it down with a good dose of celebrex and prednisone. This asshole deserves to die.

I was very disappointed when I wrote my local pharmacist (A tiny town) to explain the debilitating joint pains/insomnia/fast heartbeat/hallucinations/night­mares and the long term (15 mos later) pain in right core/back I have to live with now. I am disgusted that we have to fight to get docs to believe this drug is poison for many of us. No reply from the pharmacist but my doctor did report it (as they must by law). Thx.

I'm sorry to hear about your floxing. I believe mine will end in death, because I can't take it anymore. It's been going on 7 years now and I'm not getting better at all.

Everyday is pure hell. Crying, screaming, pacing, smoking, agitation, anxiety, insomnia, all my teeth are getting pulled.

It's pure hell and trauma when I get teeth pulled. I cry in the dental chair sometimes even scream because the anxiety gets so high. And the pain.... I want to die and be with Jesus.

2003. Words cannot express the nightmare that has become our lives. Tendon, joint and muscle pain and swelling, heart-palpitations, anxiety/depression, skin disorders, vibrations throughout my body, stabbing pains, enlarged lymph nodes...and unimaginable EMOTIONAL trauma..all from 20 pills (AVELOX and LEVAQUIN), that I took for a sinus infection.
