so remember you can out run them, so dont try. If it wants to fight and wont leave you must fight it or bluf it into backing down. If it attacks you fight back with everything you got, using knifes, rocks, sticks, anything at your disposal. Always back away slowly facing towards the bear, do not turn your back. When confronting a mother bear with cubs if you back away she will not usually continue to attack unless starving. Mainly starvation drives a bear to attack man.
