  • Hmmmmm I like this concept. Nice ideas :)

  • how long did this style take you to complete?

  • @endeerayneee Too long! lol I think it was a few hours. I had to keep redoing some of the parts. That's what took the longest. I hate parting. UGH!

  • very cute <3

  • i really like this! i may try it. you did a great job :)

  • Beautiful natural style! Will try this up-do for church. What did you say you put into your misting bottle? Water and honey what? Thank you for sharing.

  • I think the twists would have been really nice with a slight curl to the ends.

  • Nice!

  • You make the flat twist to your head going back & up seem so easy. I am going to continue to try.

  • Great job!!!!!!! You are so my SHERO!!!!! I am transitioning and it has only been about 4 months since my last relaxer but I must admit I am tired of these ends but thanks to you and some others I will keep pressing on without the BC. Thanks for paving the way!!! I think I am addicted to YOUTUBE natural channel. :)

  • how do you get a couple of WEEKS out of a style? lol. I can barely get a few days.

  • @LadyKay9190 If I remember correctly I got about a week and a half. I said that I hoped to get 2 weeks but I didn't. But if you use a product that has a gel base then it helps the twists stay better.

  • cute!

  • your twist are so beautiful. I have tried to oo them but they never stay. I will keep practicing. Thanks for sharing!

  • Your so welcome!!

  • So pretty!!! Have to try this!!

  • @GODDESS9723 Thank you!!

  • very nice and elegant. impressive protective styling!

  • that's a really nice style

  • Very pretty.

I couldnt stop looking at your flat twisting technique, u use your thumb and middle finger on your right hand instead of the thumb and index finger. LOL

  • Love it!!!!

  • Love your hairstyle...well i love all of them, but i wanted to ask: at what store can i get the Aloe Vera 100 Gel that you used for your your hair???? plss reply thank you and by the way i am 17 and transitioning to natural hair and this is my 9th month. i am thinking about doing the big chop so what would you advice???

  • @TheRealMeDoingMe the 100% aloe vera gel is available at walmart. the brand at walmart is fruit of the earth.

  • @ItsGuadalupeG than you so much! :-D

  • Very nice!!

  • Hi. I really like that style. I wish I could braid my own hair.

  • @quietbynature27 Thank you. Trust me girl you can learn. I had no clue until YouTube. I watched people like prettydimples01 and others flat twist and that's how I learned. I can't braid either. These are twists.

  • How much of each item do you put in your protein treatment?

  • @Byrd05 1 egg, 2-3 TBSP whole mayo (NOT Miracle Whip), 2 TSP honey, 1 TSP olive oil (or any natural oil)

  • I love the style. And I understand girl...it took you a lot less time to do your twists, mine take forever because looking in the mirror and making parts can be a b****, especially on mohawk-like styles. Good job!

  • I like that style. always looking 4 a style I can wear to work & that will also last @ least a week, if not longer. I will b trying this style next. thx 4 sharing

  • I love it!!! I am going to try this on my natural hair!!! I have been natural for two years! Lovin it!!!

  • I just found my new fall style that I have been looking for. Love it! Thanks!

  • i want smaller ones w/ some designs like goapele's braids. so when can i expect u to do mine? lol......... great hair!

  • @fanatic709 Mmmmm-kay, I'll get right on that! :)

  • @napturallycurly okay, i'm gonna start straightening up my house.......... wash my hair. now don't have me getting all readified and u ain't comin' ;) anyway if i had my druthers i surely would get someone else to do my hair!

  • Loved it!

  • Like your hair style

  • This looks gorgeous! My flat twists look dead! I need to learn how to make them look nice and defined.

  • What an awesome up-do!!!! I love this video! You just gave me an idea to do for my own hair ;-)

  • VERY PRETTY

  • I love it!!!! Never mind the parting, it is fine by me, no one is perfect! If they are all in your head like that... They need to back up! I love it & u did a great job!

  • @Butterfly102410 lol!! True words! Thank you. :)

  • I love it, I'm going to try this style I hope I get the same if not very similar

  • That is a really cute updo. My hair is not thick at all so i am not sure if it would look as good, but I might still try it any way. I have enjoyed watching your video since you have started. So keep doing what you doing!!!

  • Last relaxer: November 2010. I've had relaxed hair since I was 5. I decided 2g Natural because I hated buying perms n I wanted 2do sumthin dat require not ALOT of maintenance 2keep up wit. I'm getn married May 2012. I have not been looking for a hairstyle 4 the wedding. Jus like my dress, it caught my eye n this would be the hair do that I will be having for my wedding. I appreciate a whole lot. Most of your styles I have did on my daughter. She has never had a relaxer and she will bever will.

  • cute

  • I love this style Lisa! Perfect wedding style!

  • Great job!

  • shalom. that hairstyle is sooo cute. i wish someone could do mine :)

  • GREAT STYLE!!!

  • Very Cute. Good job

  • Your flat twisting is coming along really well!

  • I love this style! Great job, girl. Your flat twist prowess has grown. Question: Do you have sore arms when you are done with the flat twists from time to time?

  • @MusicalTati Thank you! If I have to redo one of the ones near the top then sometimes they do get tired, but for the most part no, they don't.

  • Cute as ALWAYS ;D

  • @Shanatural Aw thanks, Shannon!

  • This would last for a few weeks? Wow, amazing! I can't wait to try this style.

  • @blueottlisa Well, I HOPE so. This is my first time doing it so if I can get 2 weeks that would make me happy.

  • Parting Sucks , but your twist came out really cute. Very cute style. Can we say PRO.FES.ION.AL ;)

  • @Iamsonotmyhair Thanks. Professional? Not hardly. lol But if they had a parting school I would register. That is what takes sooooooooooooo dang long when doing styles like this!

  • I love this style, great job!!! Your hair is gorgeous :)

  • It's official . . .You are now the twist out Queen!! This came out sooo good!! My inner PJ has been itching to try the Original Moxie line but I have to keep telling myself 'one product line at a time'. . .LOL However I think I'm going to place an order for the samples just to test the waters. :-) Do you use the entire line?

  • @MsChanteJ72 lol, thank you! And who woulda thought several months ago someone would ever coin me with THAT name!! Practice definitely helps. I do have their No Foam Shampoo but haven't tried it yet. My hair had quite a bit of build up from my last style so I wanted something a bit stronger this time. But I used their Leave In Detangling Conditioner for this style (forgot to mention that) and it is a GREAT detangler!! Other than the weird smell, they seem to have great products.

  • Love it!

  • I just came back to say I did my hair this way; currently tied up. --Will wear for church tomorrow. Some of my church ladies will love it.

  • how many months natural are you

  • @MsShae2 I'm actually just finishing up my transition so technically I'm about 95% natural (a few straight ends here and there). I've been transitioning since March 2010 but haven't had a relaxer since June 2009. I texturized for a few months prior to my transition.

  • Hi there. I like your hairdo. Will try it out on my daughter sometime soon. Question: The Moxie "Oasis Moisture Gel", what are its main ingredients? and where do you purchase yours?

  • @mmorrellwilson Thanks. I bought it online @ originalmoxie[dot]com. Warning: It's pricey! Main Ingredients: Distilled Water, Vegetable Glycerin, Organic Aloe Vera. Then there are some other essential oils and a few other ingredients but those are the main ones. It's paraben free.

  • @mmorrellwilson FYI you can also buy 1oz sample sizes for around $3.

  • Cute hairstyle! I'm the maid of honor in my sister's wedding and am looking for cute styles to wear that day. This is giving me so much inspiration.

  • @vivacious1083 Great! It's funny you should post this because I'm in a wedding next year and was thinking I will probably wear this style for it! :)

  • ooh, I am going to try that style, but curl the bang w/ flex rods, Thanks for sharing

  • Loving it Lisa!!!!! :o)

  • Love it! How long will u b able 2 make this style last?

  • @667tazmania I hope 2 weeks. This is my first time doing it so I don't know yet.

  • Very pretty. Can't wait for my hair to grow out!

  • very cute style.

  • Hmmm I could hear you perfectly and I'm looking on my cell...this is great girl! One day i'll get to the point where I do extra special styles. I love this though!

  • this was adorable!! Loved it =]

  • Your twist styles always come out so beautifully! Love how you styled this! Im still working on perfecting the art of the flat twists LOL.

  • excellent!!

  • I love it! Your hair is looking so healthy. I hate parting through my wilderness hair LOL! That's the only reason you never catch me doing little cornrows, flat twists, etc. I'll probably only have it done if I go to a salon and they do it for me ;o)

  • @007newnew The Wilderness! LOL, I hear ya. That's def my least favorite part of doing these styles. Parting adds at least an hour for me.

  • Hi Lisa, this is a sweet style. It reminds me of BeautifulBrownBabyDoll's hairstyles. You've made it...to me you're 100% natural now. By the way, I did my big chop last week (at almost 14 months in) and I love it! I just couldn't find anymore reasons why I wanted to keep the straight ends, it was becoming pointless. However, I had cut the back way before, and to me it looks longer than the part that still had the relaxed ends. Do you think that hair grows faster without the relaxed ends?

  • Sorry, couldn't hear a word you were saying. I turned my speakers up as loud as they could go; but still couldn't hear you. Dats why I didn't rate this vid!! Maybe next time

  • Wow! You've come so far! This look is great.

  • Very pretty...I hate parting, ugh!!! I was looking for a protective style to rock this week and I guess this is it. Thanks!!!

  • So cute Lisa! I'm so glad you liked the Original Moxie's Oasis Gel! It really is awesome!!!!

  • @160Days2Lose2 Thx CharyJay, Girl, that stuff should be called Oasis GOLD because of the price (lol), but you were right.... it is so moisturizing! I guess I'll have to increase some of my sponsor ad spots on 2createawebsite to make up for the cost. *kidding* :) I told them your video referred me so I hope they send you more stuff!

  • Ptetty!! So talented. :)

  • @tabbyshauna Thank you!!

  • That's really cute! Once my hair grows out I will most definitely be rocking this style.

  • @alminor1 Sweet, let me know how it goes. :)

  • So you chopped your relaxed ends off. You were supposed to wait on me! :)

  • @kristenjdec LOL, I have a few left. I'm about 95% there. You betta catch up! LOL

  • It turned out quite nicely on you!

  • @AYWalton Thx, I appreciate you watching.
