Imagine, just imagine what the world would be like today if the mathmatical equation machine had been assimulated into buisiness. We could have had computers, real computers centuries ago.....on a sadder note, we could have all died out about 200 years ago from being to fat to leave the house, lol.
to add to you comment.. imagine if the line of human intellect wasn't disrupted by the mongols and the turks and some other invading cultures which had no interest in educational treasures.. it is said that we would have been 600 years ahead if the line of information passed down from civilization to civilization since the sumarians till now was not destroyed by some empires
i was aware of this. the question that i pose is that why not sooner than later? what i mean to say is that the consumer dictates the growth of tech. and not industry and development. as of now there is a consumer need for alt. fuel sources and i believe that we are perched upon the precipice of a new era of man.
begging of the technology? when? now? I thought this has been going on for generations. Dude, it's too late.

Sometimes I wonder if we're going to be inventing things so fast that we crumble under the weight of what's invented.
Don't get me wrong, I'm all for the advancement of technology. I love it and think it's highly fasinating. And to think that it started so long ago!
I love Modern Marvels. :)
