Survivorman is not the "real shit". He contacts his safety team every single day, which could fly in a chopper if any thing went wrong. Bear Grylls does have a full crew behind him, but he puts himself in situations to help us know how to survive them. As long as he does that, and makes it real, then I am fine with that.
