However, the subconscious is susceptible to messages that the conscious mind doesn't hear. This is observable fact, and it's how the entire advertising business works. People generally follow other people, thus if you have say 5 people in a crowd of a hundred raise their hands, it will send a ripple effect to make other people raise their hands too. Look up Asch's Experiment for similar ideas.

So there is a high possibility of him changing the last few words of the 'script', taking full advantage of the shoppers familiarity with what he is saying.
