Tbh.I didn't like this episode.Not much happened,and i think they wasted a lot of great oppurtunities,like Gwen could of discovered Merlin's secret.I hope she puts 2 and 2 together in the next series and figures it out that he saved her life wth magic.Im also VERY confused about the dragon!?!?! I thought they were meant to be wise,so why wd it save Morgana?? Is this a bad dragon? But it wwas a good twist and ending,but im quite disappointed with the rest,Glad that Arwen got married though :D <3

This is what i want to happen--Morganna stabbs Gwen in the heart,,then Arthur and Merlin come in ,,,Merlin knows the only way to save Gwen is by magic,so he does it in front of Arthur and Morganna,Then Morganna and Merlin have and EPIC battle , Merlin leaves morganna unconsious,that Agravaine guy grabbs her and runs, and Camelot is restored to Normality once more,,But Morganna still lives on as she is a big character and i cant imagine the show without her,WOOP SO EXITED FOR THE 24th!!

Then at least Gwen would know, and she can be trusted. and as much as most of us want Arthur to know as well I think they are keeping that for the end of the series. First I thought Merlin was angry with Aggy because he might killed his mother. But now I looked this trailer again (and again ...) I now think that Merlin was caught by Aggy using a spell. But he had to cover his identity, so he decided to kill Aggy. This will be the first time, Merlin is using magic to kill someone. That's new because he did this in the past only to protect Arthur and not to protect himself or his identity as Emrys. This is a huge step for him I think.

Not sure but 0:19 if you look closely Morgana is holding herself and looks like she' in pain. Which means a) Gwen injured her(a bit unlikely) b) some of the knights she was fighting injured her on her way to Gwen(more likely) c)Dragoon/Merlin cast a spell on her (highly likely)

@DreamOfTheRebel Don't forget, Gwen is a blacksmith's daughter, and pretty handy with a sword herself. She was the one to teach Merlin (way back in season 1) how to put on armor, and she helped protect Ealdor when it was being attacked by bandits.

But you're righ.. considering that Morgana has magic now, Merlin is the only one likely to do her any major harm.

@dottybrit22 No I'm not underastimating Gwen or anything, but we're talking about Morgana here, even the most skilled swordsman doesn't stand a chance againist her since she has magic AND is a skilled swordswoman. She looks pretty weakened and relies on a sword, which is her last resort, so I smell Merlin/Emrys is probably messing with her.

@DreamOfTheRebel You're right, Gwen is good with a sword but Morgana has been training all her life, I even recall her saying she would beat Arthur in training. So Morgana would kill Gwen with magic right away so the only way that the fight will happen is if either Morgana is wounded and is for the moment not able to use it. Or I would like if Gwen taunts challenges her to see if she cold win fighting fairly and Morgana would think she would win anyway so she accepts. But with Morgana still

And I think if Gwen found out she would keep Merlin's secret. Because i also want Arthur to fight Agravine and maybe before killing him he will try to expose Merlin which Arthur could crush off or will begin to suspect. That is why I think that both villains could be killed because the ultimate villain

@moviewatcher373 That would be great but since we saw a glimpse of old Merlin he will be the one who will probably tell him. Remember I think it was Gauis who told Arthur that "Dragoon" really did try to save Uther so Arthur might have reason to trust him again. Although I always thought a great way for Arthur to find out would be when shit hits the fan like this Merlin either gathers or is joined by an army of good magic users who believe in Emerys and Albion and he leads them into battle.

He obviously will be shocked but I bet he would let him do anything to save Camelot. But I also think that Arthur will keep secret that he knows that Merlin has magic unless Merlin finally tells Arthur his secret and Arthur will tell him that he saw Merlin doing magic during the battle. I don't know how he will found out but I think is in this episode.
