yup and Maria kinda looks like Roll from Mega Man LOL it just seems to me like i have seen those characters before, from some other japanese 3d fighting game like tekken or some shit like that LOL and you know.. i knew fucked up Castlevania right after Castlevania aria of sorrow, in the following castlevanias the characters started looking more and more like Mega Man characters instead ofrealistic like on CSOTN and CHOD

yeah i hate the demography the castlevania series is leading into. i love anime, but when i think of castlevania, i think of realism, not a generic looking anime character. castlevania is only doing this because they want to approach a younger audience.

totally agree, the character desings from Castlevania Symphony of the Night are just the best. Sadly like you said they want to get kids to play the games, i mean c'mon! Castlevania on Nintendo DS ? i mean wtf? Nintendo DS is obviously for kiddos, they also fucked up the improved unlockable version of CSOTN in Castlevania for PSP they replaced the original voices and script with cheesy sounding modern english, like they would say "dude" in the 1700's

i agree, SotN had the best artwork style. i honestly didn't mind aria of sorrow, it retained a little bit of the old feel but definitely had an anime vibe to it. oh well. and yeah, i could care less about little kids. i mean come on, this game is over 15 years old, i'm pretty sure true castlevania fans are a tad bit older than what konami is expecting and the old school fans wants the old style. and i had no clue the PSP replaced the original voices. that is gay, lmao "dude - 1700's."

LOL yeah, you really should check it out, the completely fucked up with unlockable version, you can also play as Maria but they got rid of her cool spells from the Sega Saturn Version and have her Throwing FUCKING DOVES!! can you believe that? yes i said DOVES LOL look for a video of CSOTN for the psp on here and you will see what i mean
