theres a simple reason why apple only has siri for iphone 4s. when you buy the iphone 4s, part of the cost is used to cover the bandwidth for siri.

Want to know too and how can I make my own 4s use that proxy. On this video, are you using YOUR server for your calculation? or is it just masking stuff and relaying it to apple?

Sometimes siri is just too slow and that puts me off. Usually, the first time I use siri in the day, inevitably fails.

I don't think the decision to limit Siri to the 4S was solely about trying to sell more of them. They openly admit that Siri is a beta software. Beta software is pretty typically never released to every single user because it is still being tested and is not perfect (just like Siri). Apple knows that fragmentation is a serious problem for android and they have historically done their best to avoid it in the past (that is one reason why developers flock to ios). So sure, Siri is a differentiator

@isolationdrills Hello, thank you for your comment. The reason why Siri is in beta isn't the same reason why other software are labeled beta. Siri is in beta because of the lack of language support (only Eng, Fre, and Ger right now) and lack of features (the inability to change volume, open Camera.app, make a timer with seconds, etc., using Siri.) There's also a lack of API for developers to use so they can't make apps that utilize Siri.

@AlphaFalconX But it also doesn't work correctly sometimes and is a little bit buggy. Also, my last comment wasn't fully posted for some reason, thats why it cuts off in the middle of a sentence. I can't remember what the end of that sentence was but i know i said "cool video" or something like that at the end =)
