It looks like it's a direct port from the PC versions: I have aCSI, Dark Motives, 3 Dimensions of Murder and Hard Evidence all for PC and this looks identical to them. PC is better because of the mouse control.

People seem to think this is a bad game just because it isnt as graphic heavy as Splinter Cell or Prince of Persia, both of which aren't as fun as they could be if they didnt focus so much on graphics. It's a good game worth fans' time, be glad they felt like making another game, we'll be lucky if we see anymore next year, which we probably won't.

@manramen I think we can expect a little more nowadays than these awful graphics. I really prefer the way the first two CSI games were made back in 2003. They may have had a more static style, but at least they looked way better.

Btw, there's actually another game releasing in either October or November: CSI Fatal Conspiracy. But I wouldn't say we're lucky, at least not where graphics are concerned..

@solidsnakeBYTE88 Yes, In the beta version of the game, you died in real life when you launched it. But this feature was cut due to legal reasons (the death was apparently too painful) right before the final release.

They need to make a COPS game just like the show.Were you can go on patrol,pull over people,search them for drugs,foot chase,taser ect ect.That would be so cool but it would have to have the song too

I don't think you got carried away at all. The games looks to be loaded with fmv and I've seen better on my Sega CD when live actors are used.

Indeed. And the amount of money they spent animating these characters...they could have paid the actors from the series to film a few extra scenes.

I don't think its a matter of price..its a matter of "artistic direction"...or lack thereof.

I remember Jedi Knight 1...all cutscenes done live action...absolutely awesome.
