There's this strange concept amongst lots of people that as soon as somone uses echo it's to cover bad singing, but I actually use it on lots of tracks because it makes it sound eerie. But I do agree lots of singers use it to cover bad singing

Lol I don't understand what the meaning was either. I was just sitting at home and it was late so I didn't want to wake the neighbours by playing so I tried miming this with an old recording.
