I think that out of every console I had, the Dreamcast was the best. I've always been a huge fan of Sega and it sucks that they went out of the console business. Not to mention that the Dreamcast's life span was short. Games such as Soul Reaver, Illbleed, Jet Grind Radio, Sonic Adventure 1 and 2, Airforce Delta, Tomb Raider, and Power Stone were awesome. I still have yet to check out Shenmue, D2, Blue Stinger, Skies of Arcadia, and Soul Calibur.

The Sega Saturn could be played online, and I think that even earlier than that, an Atari console could. The second point is pretty arguable, weather you're talking about it being the first to have good games, or the first to have the highest good game to bad game ratio. Although, I will say that my (pirated) Dreamcast collection is probably bigger than the collection I have for any other console.
