You all should feel stupid arguing over what truck is the best. I'm 14 and I know from the factory that the Duramax has the most power and don't get me wrong the Cummins is an awsome motor I just am a Chevy guy I can't stand Fords but that new 6.7L they're comming out with is suppost to blow away the competition. I'm just sayeing ya'll need to get your facts strait cause every diesel can be made to outrun the other.
no it doesn't all the motors have the same hp except the new 6.7 powerstroke has 50 more hp but duramax has the same hp as the cummins and 6.0 powerstroke
Well when the new LMM came out it did for a while ,but ya now the 6.7 Cummins and Duramax are about the same and the new Powerstroke is suppost to be pretty bad ,but every magazine article is different.
@jonp1116 you might want to do some research on that there kid ford sadly has more power but shittier trannies so with the torque management the truck just falls on its face, duramax is better cuz it can actually get the power to the wheels, and you can never kill a I6 cummins

im sorry to hear that you think that..also..a 06 up 5.9 cummins stock almsot puts out as much horsepower as a C-12 caterpillar.(thats a 12 litre) the c-12 is rated at 395 HP and the 06 up is at like 310 stock.
I'd like to know where you got your info. Cause your numbers are completely wrong. No truck available today in these styles have that kinda power from the factory. The Duramax has 365 hp and 665 tq and the Cummins has near identical numbers along with the Powerstroke.
I own a 07 cummins 3500 and it is all stock with 375hp and 675ftlb of torque. I dinoed it. Im just saying that i preffer the cummins over duramax or powerstroke.
can't be stock to have those numbers. i work for a chrysler dealership, and no truck on the lot has them. so what do you have done to it??? or is it just one of those miracle trucks that magically has the manufacturers rated power to the flywheel at the rear wheels somehow??? cause that's how they do it...rate them by flywheel horsepower.

yeah if you want to the power by the cummins if you want speed buy a doodoo max and if you want to be stuck on the side of the rode by a ford. end of story. my girl friend rodeos and all you see at everyone of them is dodge. They drive them for a reason!!! POWER!!!!!
Ya Ive drove them alll and on top end i got my dodge up too 136 is wat my navigation said and ive pulled at 100. But mine wasnt stock lol. But I have a kodiak I work out of man that thing is nice

The 06+ cummins actually 375 hp stock and 675 foot pounds of torque. Theres no match to a cummins. There just beasts =).

I dunno but i did no work to it and i just resently put it on the dyno and it shows me 375 HP and 675 ftpd of torque.
