  • This is why the elderly shouldn't drive. Some are all good, but once you can't move your neck to check blind spots, you're a threat to all others around you. tisk tisk..

  • I own a 1988 Lincoln Town Car and I love it. It rides so smooth and purrs like a cat. It comes as no suprise to me that the old ladys car went through the front of the store so easily with light to medium damage. It was the first full size car to get 5 star safety ratings across the board and it has an overall gross weight of 5000 lbs. Take that new small cars! (minus mileage lol)

  • i got me a blue 86 towncar with the crome trim down the sides. Gona make a bumber sticker that reads 'Your Car is My Cars Air Bag" lol

  • 1988 Lincoln Town Car

  • That looks more like the Bonney Lake Fred Meyer to me. isn't it???

  • OoPs never mind that is the Puyallup, I recognize it now.

  • Or is it bonney lake I cannot tell the inside looks like bonney lake but I just not sure???

  • South Hill Puyallup store.

  • At least it is a nice car

  • Guess some people spent Christmas in the hospital that year. Sad.

  • The ol Lincoln held up pretty damn good. Try that in a flippin Honda. Hell even a Ridgeline.

  • I own a crown victoria (basically the same car) and i've read on forums of people getting t-boned and driving home in their car

let's see any modern POS do that

  • The Town Car might not be fast or handle well but it is very safe :D

  • OMG. What a beautiful limo!!!!

  • Old people should not be on the road.

  • and they shouldn't drive huge cars that can cause so much devastation either

  • This is right up from my house. I remember hearing about this.

  • i bet she felt like shit and what a dumb fuck thanks for tapein it tho

  • I was working that night. It was the most terrifying experience of my life. Fred Meyer provides ZERO safety training to their employees, all of us were doing what we could to help the injured. Amazed no one died.

  • Fred Meyer provides a great deal of safety, hazard, and emergency procedure training. I'm not sure what your job title is but please consider that you are one of many in the store and quite a few people at each store have emergency training.

  • I to worked at that store, and they do provide plenty of training unless your one of the idiots that slacks off and doesn't fully do there job.

  • looks like the fred meyers on south hill, that car went in pretty deep.

  • Yes, it was the South hill store.

  • I own a 1987 Lincoln and believe it or not the throttle cable was worn out and would get stuck when I gave it gas. The peddle would stay compressed and I would have to put the car in neutral within seconds. Lucky for me no one was in front of me. A big car like that is like a cannon ball.

  • Unbelievable. These old guys have to test their driver lisence every year again. Apart of this I had a Towncar in the 90s and I loved it.

  • The only one you really need to feel for is that poor town car :(

  • yea i know right. like why would u want to be filming it any ways??

  • Did that Lady have to be removed from the scene or did she shut up?

  • She did shut up after I told her I would have a deputy remove her. People get weird at events like this. Yell at me for taping it for the news while they stand there watching it "live" and admit to watching the news.

  • I would be curious to know where she thinks news footage comes from...

  • People get weird like that at times. They will admit to watching the news, but this time it's different because it's their friend. Or like this one, yelling at me while they stand there watching it live!

  • Oh my gosh. My dad was sweeping in there.

  • I've had to say that several times. And they're at the event and watching it live! Only once have I had to have someone be detained. Thier car was in the middle of a dentist office at night and they didn't want it on the news. They kept grabbing the camera. Another deputy came and put him in the back seat. Then we got to hear him yell.

  • gees, bad situation. but you covered it excellently.

that one lady at about 7:00 is funny how she thinks filming it was wrong.

    "do you watch the news?"

    "only some channels"

    "then shut up!" LOL

if that was you, nicely said :)

  • As a firefighter, I thank you for what you do. These videos are priceless when it comes to training.

  • Thank you. In some cases where criminal activity was involved, the suspects have plead quilty just before the trials were to begin. I haven't posted any of those videos yet. There pretty ugly.

  • How do you film these? Doesn't anybody say anything..? Is it normal to see somebody standing around with a camera during something like this lol

  • I make sure my press credentials are very visible. I stay out of the way. Having done this just shy of 20 years, most FD and PD personnel recognize me. And if they need it, I will donate a copy to the agency that makes a request.

  • Press credentials..?

  • Yes. I'm network stringer/freelance cameraman. You can here me talking on my cell phone to KING TV and NBC while I'm filming.
