Conservatives dont respect democratic institutions (ruling of supreme court on Khadr case, prorogation and contempt of parliament), they block request for access to information which is vital in democracy, they flat out lie when they answer question (at least half of the time minimum), they say coalition aren't lawful while they are, etc.
a leader when the NDP was reelevent. That party is becoming so stubborn to reforming itself. its virtually the same as it was since they were founded. they just sit on the sidelines and play spoiler. They dont seem to have any intention of making a run for power. They need to get rid of the unions for one, because honestly, the unions dont care about the NDP, theyll go to the liberals in a second if it would suit them (see buzz hargove) and in turn the NDP has to stand up for their shenanigans
Ed Broadbent should have been selected to be governor general. But Harper would never choose him, because he is a honest guy.
This is stupid to just appoint a GG. The sitting Prime Minister will almost always choose a partisan, then lie to the people and say they are non-partisan. Like we are that stupid to buy it... Now Harper has his guy for the next 5 yeears. Canadians should have had the opportunity to choose between Johnston and Broadbent and whoever else...
Long before the NDP was utterly destroyed by extreme left wing lunatics, there was a man of principle and common sense called Ed Broadbent. Taliban Jack isn't fit to lick the soles of his boots. If it wasn't for the second biggest shyster in Canadian politics after Layton, Trudeau, we might have had Ed for PM. And the country would be better of now had it occurred.
Haven't seen a person hit all the points home, and do it so well, with integrity and clearly.
People who still support the dictatorship of Harper really need to get with the program - Or do you think John Baird has a "Leadership Team" in place for himself for nothing?
God...Please grant us one wish, to be RID of Harper and his Reformer/Alliance Party hacks!
DIstort might mean, they said "only have a flag half offscreen" not "they don't have a flag". That is called a lie. Not a distortion. A distortion is when you look at something with glasses that make it look a bit off. A lie is when you look at something and say it doesn't exist (or vice versa).
I dont get why anyone would support the Torries.

I just dont get it...

It's hard not to like Ed Broadbend, no matter which party you support. History will view him very favourably.
