Grandia 2 had some absolutely beautiful pieces. It's just a damn shame that the game is so underrated. Gamers just simply ignored this series in favour of Flashy Game #3,456. Style over substance...

I definitely started tearing up during this final scene with Aira. Although I was playing this on the less than amazing PS2 port, it was simply an AMAZING cutscene.

You start with melfice is past and grow up till future and die on Ryudo

You start with Mareg and fight on melfice but you lose and now you search.

But those story lines have to be nice too !!

Don't get me wrong,

I love the game, regardless of its graphics (and I didn't say that better graphics = better game)

But don't you think that 'young' people won't even take a look at that game because of it's graphics?

(At least all the people I know just want to play 'good-looking' games...which is reduculous anyway...)

I played this as i was 13 or so... it was like a world i want to go in because of this atmosphere, and that had nothing to do with the graphics, just the characters and the music was so amazing in this game.
