WAY too slow a game. Borderlands suffered from the same problem as this, in excluding something that all games (are supposed to have), namely the speeding up of time (and, in Borderland, fast travel or some form of 'teleportation').

Well, looking at random.com it says that it measures "randomness" from "atmospheric noise". That, like radioactive decay, is pretty much random. Like they said on their front page, it is better than PRNG. You won't see many games that use that type of random number generation since you would actually need a physical device to be attached to computer but with "300,000 - 400,000" games, there may be some that actually do use that, I won't deny that.

Not even Knights of the Old Republic was, despite the fact that it used the rules for the Star Wars tabletop roleplaying game for every aspect of combat social interaction. Dice are as close as you can get to truly randomly-generated numbers, we're not quite that far in computer programming yet.

@Arm4g3dd0nX Technically having a "True random number generator" is impossible, although it's pretty much irrelevant at this point.  Most random number generators use the computer's clock as a seed. All generators in games are PRNG, but they're close enough at being random.

Well the true random number generator at Random.org has a pattern that is estimated (VERY rough estimation) to repeat every 150 billion years. So sure, you can call that a pseudo-random number generator if you really like, but you won't be able to tell for another... 149 billion, 999 million, 999 thousand, 999 years, 11 months, 30 days, 23 hours, and 59 minutes. When that moment happens, point it out again and I will submit that you are correct.

@revo606uk Okay, this game is more complicated but Sim City but is a lot like evil genius. Dwarf Fortress. It's crazy man. It's all in ASCII graphic but check out the Phoebus Graphics Pack, it makes it easier to understand what's going on.

Also, the bonus CD that came with pre order has been released. Check them out some time! There's a website called evil planet or something like that with links.

the only time the game EVER crashes for me is after I fully exit the game I get an error pop-up

but for some reason many of my games do that

I can agree with the best game released between February 4th and February 26th in 2003. Unreal II was released on February 4th. Heroes of Might and Magic IV was released on February 26th. So Evil Genius had a good 3 week run there.
