Gosh...the comments are so harsh. Why does everyone think that Kate is such a b*tch? She's proud of her children, and yeah, even though this is kind of disgusting, she's their mother and to her, its a legit achievement for her young children. As for her waiting off on training the boys, that makes sense, since Jon isn't home to train them, and being female, it would be easier for Kate to train the girls.

Kate is one of the worst mother's I've ever seen, and I thought working with foster kids I heard it all. But she's done things (like throwing out Colin's lovey, making a sick child sleep on the cold floor in the dark, skimpy portions of food and denying water etc).
If she wasn't on TV, those kids would have been taken away from her by now. She doesn't deserve to raise a cockroach.

its not the pride people are disgusted with but the fact that she feels the need to parade these private moments for all to see. Imagine when that child is a teen and a classmate watches this........do you think they will be happy that the world got to watch them going to the bathroom. I believe this is violation of those little kids for monetary gain, i really think it should be stopped. You have to understand they were a couple in their 20s with eight children. They were living of welfare. They were going to jump at any oppurtunity so they could live comfortably. They need this money. Yes, Kate is controlling with her husband but atleast it is a good characteristic to have when you have so many children! She's a good mommy just not the best wife.

I actually DO have a son. Me, baby and mommy are together and all is well. I am an artist here in Europe and she is finishing her studies and a nice university. We travel together and enjoy our lives. That aside, I still don't get why people enjoy seeing low-class idiots on TV. Oh, right: it's "entertaining". I know Europe has it's issues---I don't watch TV here---but I'm glad my son won't be bombarded by this stupid stuff for the first years of his life (TV, radio, billboards, Walmart TV...)
