i always take a can of corn dump it into baggies, let those sit in the garage sealed up for 2-3 days then freeze em for later use,,, carp bite on it about the same as fresh but i do it for the cats,, it drives them insane ive tested it many time one rod with fresh other with garage aged and far outfished the fresh stuff, would be like 5 to 1 every time

Suggestion: have you tried using cow liver its really inexpensive its about 98cents apound and last time when no one and i mean no one was catching anything miy dad and i kept catching 4-5 pound catfish and 1 pound bluegill and if they dont bite try using night crawlers..that day in total we caught 18 catfish and 13 bluegill within  3 hours

bigger the bait bigger the fish. I use rotten garbage fish like Squawfish, and Carp. You chop it in chunks and let it sit in the afternoon sun to where they get really smelly and just tie to your hook, cat's love that shit. This guy in my town uses anything from ribs to kfc chicken(no Shit).

And for the carp lovers, carp are fun to fight but in my neck of the woods they are garbage cause they are every where and they eat all the game fish spawn.
