Another case of favoritism of domestic (non-native) animals over wild (native) ones. Coyotes are evil for doing what comes naturally?

Many coyotes are shot for pure entertainment, as you can see on countless YouTube snuff videos. I'd like to see just a little bit of sympathy for them vs. the precious livestock.

Coyotes are a problem in most everywhere they live. In most places the only predator they fear is humans, but they attack children and take small dogs while the owners are walking them. They have to be controled by hunting and trapping.

Thats why you keep your animals locked up with dogs like rottweilers or a German Shepard Coyotes can sense the danger & will stay away. The Coyote was just doing what you do (HUNT)

Well what did you expect, everything has to live somewhere and if you decide to start putting goats outside where coyotes live then it is your responsibility to protect the goats with a proper fence, not shoot, kill, poison every living creature that tries to exist on this planet as nature intended. Either that or try rearing livestock where there are no predators. You yanks wiped out nearly all the Prairie Dogs once too, thought they were eating all the best grass...soon found out the hard way.

Coyotes can pretty much get around and/over over even a good 6 ft chain link. Sucks for the coyote to come into my yard.

One killed My neighbors cat a farmer lets me hunt turkey on his property free as long as I promise to shoot any coyotes i see. I used to try to shoot them they got call savy so I set out snare wire with chicken liver and whenever i get one I just shoot him with a 22lr. Also could be large fox they move in once you kill the coyotes back domestic animals are no match they don't know to run away.

Get a livestock guardian! Not a damn herding dog! There is a huge difference! Livestock dogs don't herd but they protect your livestock, property, & your people.

We have a little over 5 acres. At night the goats stay in there barn but sometimes move around. We think they Cyotes ran them out of the barn they freaked and ran and they jumped the fence and attacked them.

Now is a good time to start trapping the fuckers. Sorry to see your little buddy get wasted by a coyote. That fence would be a great place for a snare and you would have great success with dirt pits there as well. If you don't want to trap, put up a memo at the gun shop.. wanted.. trapper to kill problem coyote will trade fresh milk for each kill..
