@dagenhamsfinest Where did you read that? I really don't hear the similarity, except that the chords alternate from the I to the VII chord in one place, and a percolating kind of mandolin thing in the Tijuana Brass song.

@ajaben go to riddim directory and listen to the Bobby Digital produce cut and you will notice the similarity. Duke reid did not inspire this riddim but made it a rocksteady version. Coxsone & duke reid done this alot with many chunes, they took the cord they like and the rest is history.
