How to send PokeSav PKM files to a DS via GTS.

K i have a frustrating problem... everything goes fine and i can connect regularly except as soon as i change my DNS from the auto-obtained to the one that is shown in the black box i cannot connect. to be precise, what happens is when i test connection it shows all green bars for awhile but then they go away and the meter is red and it says i cannot connect. i could never get sendpkm to work :( cause the DNS that the CMD black box gave me was 0.0.0.0 and the GTS wouldnt send me the TRU Arceus or TRU Dragonite i would drag into sendpkm

If you get error 52100, then you need to make sure that your secondary DNS server settings are set as well as your primary DNS server settings. You can find your secondary DNS server setting if you go: start>run>type "cmd">type>"ipconfig/all"> then look under "DNS servers" your secondary DNS server settings should be the second one. hope this helps others

I got this to work quite well on my old laptop, but it's not working with my new windows 7. The python box crashes and closes so fast I can barely read the error message. I managed to screenshot at just the right time to read it: "Error 10013: An attempt was made to access a socket in some way that is forbidden".

Still does it without firewall, and I don't have skype, so that's not causing it either. I'm gonna try getting the new version of python to see if that fixed the problem.

I'm pretty sure a lot of people get this but I don't know what else to do. I get the error code 52100, it was working a few days ago but now it won't. The router doesn't have security settings that can prevent the connection. The weird thing is that when I put the primary DNS as the DNS it shows me, and the secondary as the default gateway, it connects, but I don't get a Pokemon from the GTS even with that black window open. 1. They can create them.

2. Right click the norton icon , open norton, and disable it.

3. 7-zip can open the zip files. It's free too.

4. Download the x86 MSI installer.

@lejos555 Be sure the pkm file is exacitly 236 bytes. I got 00000 because it was 136 bytes, then when i tried a 236 file, it worked. Right click it and click properties to see the file size.
