Loved it when they came out with this game on one of those cheap plug and play box things you could pick up at any WalMart. It was just a small box with a joystick that you plugged into your TV. Got a couple of them. They have all the classics on them like Pac Man and Galaga.
I threw a ton a quarters into this machine when I was a kid. Luckily a buddy showed me how to rig the machine so I didn't have to pay. Good times. You have pretty good technique. I think you might stay a little bit too long when you down shift. I would just down shift for a quick second, spin the wheel then upshift.
OH NO YOU AIN'T! YOU'RE GONNA PLAY POOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLE POSITION!!!
As a fellow member of the perfect run club, the only advice I have is to shift back to high in the hairpin as soon as you pass the sign. Otherwise... flawless.
dude im 11 and i can score 6500 evry time i play this and also i have been looking for an orginal online version so if you find a link please messege me thanx
You guys remember how difficult this was with the actually steering wheel. That thing was really sensitive. Much easier with the controllers (I have PS2). I qualified first just once in many tries. I've completed five circuits, but usually down-shift around all turns. I take pride in not having that skidding noise. One of these days I'll try driving in high gear for the whole race without crashing. Might take me a while to pull it off.
you can beat that score !!! stay in high gear thru the hair pin turn but at the last moment, cut hard into the grass on left to slow yourself down and to break the sharpness of the turn but must get back on track before slowing too much. if u can master this, you'll add 1000 plus points to score !! never downshift unless about to crash...and namcoguy, watch your laguage

Hey, look! The game records 60 'seconds' in about 40 real seconds! They need a better stopwatch.
