The play routine is a preprogrammed sequence, I imagine. The program just uses audio cues to prompt the user for input. Again, the controlling program just uses its stereo vision to track the object. This is real, but not necessarily -in my not-so-humble opinion- as it is portrayed in this video. The robot itself is some bent metal, a pile of servos, some servo controllers, two small cameras, wire, and a speaker. All of the functional control of this machine takes place in the PC that its wired to.

No. Failure. This is clearly a hoax. All those motions are preprogrammed. It has NO sensors or cervos. This is not an ASMIO type humanoid robot. It cannot track movement. This is stupid. It's remote controlled.

This is a robot with a higher level of AI. For one, it can track objects and also mimic people. So if this robot has or models on advanced 'neural networks' as a way to execute functions and remember applications, then yes it's clever and has room for more. Is this the Kondo KHR-2? Only it seems to be modified slightly from what I can recall of the KHR2.
