How do you explain the thin, healthy, non-diabetic patients who consume wheat? Correlation doesn't equal causation, by any means. Patients I see also consume large amounts of highly processed foods, trans fats & junk. The only physical activity they routinely perform is walking to & from the refrigerator. I strongly dislike the trend of blaming food instead of challenging the bad judgement of the consumer. Personal accountability is truly dead.
I love this book, and this guy is awesome.
Rock on.
