thanks! can you show me how you did it?maybe you can email me some pics at louisyoung75@yahoo.com. I really need your help as far as I know from searching the web your the only one who can help me with this problem.
@louisyoung75 honestly, you might just look into the PRI or KIES adj. gas blocks. they both fit under the rail without modifications. the part you have to grind off on the JP is ha;f of the screw heads and is rather obnoxious,
@louisyoung75 so buy the KIES (its only 30$) and use the JP on another build.....now u have an excuse to build a new rifle ;-)
if you really really just want to use the JP, you're gonna have to either find screws at your local hardware store which fit the thread and have a head that isn't raised...or, cut down the existing screws (they are what is hanging up on the rail)
@drzmanproject 2 stage triggers........they work well if you're shooting a LR gun...otherwise, single stage all the way. I used to run a RRA 2 stage because its cheap and high quality...but once I switched to a single stage my splits from shot to shot decreased tremendously. I shoot a consistent 0.13 second split now with the single stage, almost 0.10 faster than I could shoot a double stage (0.20).
@drzmanproject 2 stage ar triggers were invented because no one could figure out how to make a good single stage...now guys like JP have figured it out...2 stage is good if you are willing to settle though

What are your thoughts on the Levang linear compensator? I thought it did very little other than reducing noise toward me and increased recoil backwards. Nice demo and shooting.
@enscribe exactly what it does...it's not a comp in the respect that this product is a comp...the levang redirects gas....but forward...it isn't designed to reduce recoil it's designed to put the noise forward.
@theinfedel I've played with Jerry's a bit...and it's great for the price range it falls into (about half of the Thunder)...but in terms of performance, this 1 def. has more recoil elimination.
Good stuff Killa... I'm such a traditionalist I just can't seem to sway from the ol' A2 or atleast one that looks similar. How's the competition trail going?
@HatrXx78 As soon as you put a comp on your rifle you'll change your mind ;-)
If you like the traditional look but are interested in feeling out a comp, the battle comp would be a good option for you....while it doesn't work quite as well as a comp like this, it is freaking sweet because it isn't loud and looks like the A2

Great demo video but I'm even more impressed that you don't double plug when you're using that thing. :)
