Historians often say that it can take at least 50 years to actually document the facts about historic events of the magnitude of the JFK Assassination. If there are dangerous facts that witnesses provide, there are multitude of reasons why these things take time to filter through the system and be corroborated and verified---even when witness are willing to speak.
