its crazy man i mean this sounds good but im sure every one would pefer to have anng and the gang back man. i dunno the trailer is good and the action seems to much better however it wont have the same feel with anng. i hoped that the series would be like naruto shippuden. like how naruto comes back three years later. yeah what i mean is that they should do the series with them like 10 years later to see how much did they mature.

I would've been happier if they renewed the original for a fourth season, but i guess this works too. Just as long as they keep the animation style and humor from the original, then it'll be worth watching (because who doesn't love a moment where the main character gets pissed off and their head suddenly grows big as they begin yelling at the person who pissed them off as though it were an anime cartoon).
I hope this 'Legend of Korra' series won't be a rip off and turn us down on 'The Last Airbender because we have really high expectations of this cartoon since it's so AWESOME!!
Just because Aang is dead doesn't mean he won't be in the series. Look at Roku. He made a significant number of appearances; all of them as a past incarnation of the Avatar. Aang will likely make a couple similar appearances, perhaps in a role more like obi-wan to Korra's Anakin; suggesting patience and caution to counter Korra's headstrong tendencies.

Yeah that is a short life. This is the next avatar and it's 70 years after the first avatar. Aang was 12 years old and this girl looks about 16 so he lived a pretty short life.

@householdcheater no he dies 75 years later and he started the series as a 12 year old boy who stayed frozen for 100 years at the age of 12, so he was only 87 when he passed if he died the same year the show airs. If not then he'd be a few years younger than that.
awwww, im kinda sad, i wanted know if young zuko found his mom, how tenzin grew with the world knowing he was a new airbender, aang and katara getting married and excitment seeing tenzin. im sooo sad cause it s-k-i-p-s all of a sudden, and its only 12 episodes, not even 1 book. 21 episodes. but hopefully i'll still see aang in tenzin.
If Aang married Katara then they should have had twelve children at least. Than they would be six Waterbenders and six Airbenders because the Southern Water Tribe needs more and more Waterbenders in it besides Korra like its Waterbending population could probably be a total twelve thousand. And the world also needs more and more Airbenders as all of them were literally wiped out.
It's set 70 years after the end of the last airbender. Korra is either going to be Aang and Katara's grandchild or sokka and suki's grandchild. Korra has mastered Water, earth, and fire, but needs to master air, so she travels to the Republic city to learn from Tenzin, Aang and Katara's son. (I guess the airbending genes survived.) But there are anti-bender people doing something (I'm not sure something about causing trouble) and I guess Korra is going to have to get rid of them and fight.
I think the new series should have been about Zuko and his mom cause the series ended with Zuko asking his father what happened to his mother so I think it should be Zuko and Aang, Katara, Sokka, and Toph help Zuko find his mom. -_- just saying!

I think it sounds good. I'm not sure if it's as good as the story with Aang, but I think this could be as well pretty nice.
The idea sounds good, because you can see what has happend after all this time and now with the new Avatar, how the countries are getting along.
I love the trailer and rellay would like to see the anime. It's always good to be open minded for something new ;)

awwww, im kinda sad, i wanted know if young zuko found his mom, how tenzin grew with the world knowing he was a new airbender, aang and katara getting married and excitment seeing tenzin. im sooo sad cause it s-k-i-p-s all of a sudden, and its only 12 episodes, not even 1 book. 21 episodes. but hopefully i'll still see aang in tenzin.

If Aang married Katara then they should have had twelve children at least. Than they would be six Waterbenders and six Airbenders because the Southern Water Tribe needs more and more Waterbenders in it besides Korra like its Waterbending population could probably be a total twelve thousand. And the world also needs more and more Airbenders as all of them were literally wiped out.

It's set 70 years after the end of the last airbender. Korra is either going to be Aang and Katara's grandchild or sokka and suki's grandchild. Korra has mastered Water, earth, and fire, but needs to master air, so she travels to the Republic city to learn from Tenzin, Aang and Katara's son. (I guess the airbending genes survived.) But there are anti-bender people doing something (I'm not sure something about causing trouble) and I guess Korra is going to have to get rid of them and fight.

I think the new series should have been about Zuko and his mom cause the series ended with Zuko asking his father what happened to his mother so I think it should be Zuko and Aang, Katara, Sokka, and Toph help Zuko find his mom. -_- just saying!

We all know that the avatar state requires a lot of energy and being in that state for a century may have taken a lot of years from aang's life

I just realized that once a Avatar dies they are reincarnated in to the next cycle it`s a good thing that Aang had a son who is a airbender because if he didn`t there won`t be any more full realized Avatar`s Aang would have been the last fully realized Avatar if he didn`t have a son.
