What do you do for work? If you live in Leavenworth theres a 90% chance you need the tourists to be employed.

o.k. it has nothing to do with the original, but i like it! there are many happy people, this is what counts, eighter in germany or in america! so keep on doing it, maybe you could get a little more support from germany?

Hey! I heard about this place. I lived in Germany for 3 yrs and it reminds me of those days. Of course, in this town hookers are not part of the attraction but beer and the chicken dance, what more can you ask for.

Half the people in Leavenworth Wa speak German; our Alpinists, rock climbers and Ice climbers are better than Germany's and the fact is, our Oktoberfest is superior! The truth hurts, but the real Germany is now in Leavenworth WA. Also, Leavenworthian's can out Chicken Dance anyone, anywhwere.

These american ersatz oktoberfests are really funny. There is only one real Oktoberfest and everything else is kitsch......... including the one in Leavenworth. I hope at least they had an original Bavarian Brass Band
