Suppose you found out how to hard reset with this device then. Hefty but doable isn't it.
For the record:
Keep pressed together record(notes) button, second button and third button (start menu and OK), and while pressing these three, tap for a short while the reset switch, keeping pressed the first three until you see the reboot screen with the green sign "CLEAN BOOT".
Blah blah blah I am at my second device as that one had several burned pixels and I was going to get a replacement anyway. Back then I didn't know yet about the absurd octopus-oriented hard-reset procedure, since, guess why, HP only included in the manual the reference to the stupid HP Setup Assistant method, which required the device to be started in order to do a hard reset. I discovered only much later about the silly button sequence.
So I guess by hard reseting you solved the problem? I on my first PPC (2 palms before) and I like WM6. Although mine is the 110 (WM6 standard, I guess yours is the professional) mine doesn´t ask for passwords or that crap that vista has about permissions to run/install, that you describe yours have. Perhaps theres a way to turn it of, like vista.

Anywayì, me, I wouldn't buy another 210 now, because I know the little defects I've put up with. I don't think you'd like to drive a ferrari which turned left when you're steering right, even if it's a ferrari. That's my point.
well just check ur widows mobile version and search in internet yahoo or taringa . net and download the version some time you can upgrade or reinstall the windows firmware . or jus follow the intruccion or the are another way u donwload the windos version and take a sd car and format an put the windows in sd car and try to executed the program since the sd card you have to searh the aplicaction in sd card and executed
sorry im not sure but is posible example if u pc have a virust or error well u reinstall windows and work good again now u can try reinstalling the windows mobile if the problem continuos u have to buy and remplace the mother board i have a ipaq too and if im install software pirates me pda fails and and reboot or execute a hard reset try first with a hard reset
mm rare ur pda must have a sd slot try in main page if ur pda is a hp enter in the hp support there u will have the windows mobile or upgrade but is u has done tje hard reset the only solution is change mother board but i think u can buy a mother board for 100$ or less im from costarrica and here some people buy part of pda from usa to costarrica and cost 100$

Hard Reset Didnt work i did it like 10 times already =/
And it seems to fail whenever i install something on it.

dude do a hard reset and leave the bullshit!if you had a dll error perhaps thats the reason that the hp doesnt boot up!

try downloading the windows mobile rom and put in a sd card give format and executing teh windows from sd card and restore

hmm good point.
well ive done hard reset like 100 times now and it dosent work.. it just freezes on clean boot.
Well i dont know where to download the OS for the ipaq.. ive googled it but no success on finding it =/.
Plus i dont know how to put it on an SD card.
umm if i buy a new motherboard its like 300 dollars so might as well buy a new one for 400 dollars =/
