  • molto dolce,ma non sublime

  • @proceful Grazie, grazie (ma non troppo) - Peter :))

  • great playing! 5 stars!

  • @decatlon14 Thankyou very much for your kind comment, and for listening to my music. Best wishes - Peter.

  • Masterful, Exquisit! Thank you for sharing your music! I'm a new fan!

  • @MrEric0576 Thankyou for your kind words, and for listening to my music. My channel is dedicated to the art of keeping music - 'LIVE' ! - just fingers, imagination and a few good old traditional instruments.

Hope you enjoy checking out more musical clips. Thanks for listening and best wishes - Peter.

  • You can't beat the sound of a vintage tonewheel Hammond.

  • @steverabb The sound of this lovely instrument really 'inspired' me on the day of recording. A real pleasure to play. Thankyou so much for listening to my music, and for your kind comments which I appreciate very much. Best wishes - Peter.

  • As Time Goes By... things change. Since my comment 4 months ago I found out that X77 w/ the Leslie $500 deal was a hoax, but I did find a nice Wurlitzer 625t for $100 ( Excellent flutes through the on board Leslie), a week after that I got a free Wurlitzer 4500, check out 'Mr. Fantastic and the Wonderful World of Wurlitzer' ( it's John Deluca). I did actually get a nice theater Thomas Palace III for $100, it's awesome! To see Thomas organs you've got to check out Bob Ralston on Lawrence Welk.

  • @paulj0557 Hi, you have some really great organ models there, and at amazingly low prices. It just goes to prove, that if someone is willing to buy an organ for the sound (rather than modern easy-play gimmicks) then there are bargains galore out there.... you just need the room for all those musical bargains.

    Here's wishing you - Happy Music !!

  • The Hammond X-77 was one of my favorite organs as I wished that I had never sold it! You play wonderful!

  • @patsaxon I have never been lucky enough to actually own an X-77, but made a point of playing this (and similar tonewheel models) whenever I had the chance.

Thanks very much for listening to my music, and for your kind comment which I really appreciate.

  • thank you pure heaven

  • @101teaberry You are very kind. Thanks for listening.

  • very well played......good organ sound

  • @roland395 Thankyou very much for listening, and for your kind comment which I really appreciate. Best Wishes - Peter.

  • I have a bit of a dilemma. I sort of want this Thomas Californian 287 for $200 on Craigslist- that was a Monday listing. Today is Wednesday. I worked late and so I didn't see todays listings until 10:30 am, but when I did there it was- a listing for an 'Early 70's Hammond X77/ Leslie, bench pedals, all keys play well and very good condition. And the price? A Whopping $500.

Ah', what we get for working late. It's probably gone. Now, before the jokes about Thomas. Anyone ever play a 287? Like?

  • The volume goes up and down, this is very off-putting.

  • @Velet66 This clip was taken from a VHS recording, which originally included a real Leslie speaker... Although at the time, I tried to keep the volume (fairly) constant, I still think that the microphone was struggling to cope with the various accoustic frequencies dished out by the speakers.

  • What a feeling! That is the right way to play this organ. I love the way your playing so dynamically and smothly. It's not easy today, to hear somthing like that . Thank You, Mr. Hayward.

  • @xymusik Thankyou very much for your kind comments. I am really happy that you enjoy my music.

  • Pretty Cool. You seldom see and hear the X77s been played right.

We have one right now in the Showroom with a 77L Leslie that works well.

Also sold one some years ago,but we had to rebuild the Leslie to Normal operation

as the "Spacegenerator" was broken..A bit StarTrek there:)/Patrik

  • Great expression!

Just the way I remember organs being played.

    Thanks again.
