I first became aware of Townes only about 18 months ago via Steve Earle but I have become very hooked on the guy; his singing, his lyrics, his guitar playing and just his sheer HONESTY. Sadly I've been unable to get any of his CDs or DVDs here in Ireland nor when I went to the States on holidays last year, which is sad because this man must be one of the greatest but most underrated singer-songwriter of his generation. Rest in peace, Townes... you'll be more appreciated up there.
