i love my hackintosh, but its on a really crappy 5 year old dell lappy, and qe/ci just doesnt perform so well on it. I recently tried it on my desktop, but the crappy support for the 4870 hd makes it as useful as the lappy lol.

Personally I don't like paying for service packs. I have been using mac osx since panther (using m$ since win95) and the updates feel more like service packs than true versions. Os x is not a true operating system until Apple starts supporting third party hardware and legacy support beyond a few years. Corps run windows because they don't want to be tied to one hardware company with over priced systems. Finally, win7 is amazing, rather run it over osx anyday, feels more powerful and functional.

haha thats hillarious considering alot of MAJOR corporations have stuck with mac ever since they lost their contracts with universities back in the day. ever notice how we all used to be using mac's in school and then it all switched to windows machines? its because apple lost their contract with the educational districts due to certain restrictions. All major corporations have been using mac and have kept using mac.. just wait for osx snow leopard. you wont be talking shit much longer...

There are so many people that break EULA's and TOS everyday in so many ways, it's just that many people aren't very aware of it. I believe in a certain amount of fair use. It's nearly criminal to force people to "pay into" a machine cult in the name of money. If I paid for a copy of Mac OSX I would expect to use it how I feel fit if I wasn't bootlegging it. Apple and Microsoft are equally bad in that aspect. It gets to remind me about the whole DVD and CSS scandel too.

That's one reason why the Amiga community is in such trouble. A company wants to tie software to a piece of hardware that is obsolete, expensive and in short supply. Yeah, that's kinda how it is. Nowadays the way to go is not hardware, it's software. If that was the case Adobe would making Apple exclusive software for the Mac.

I think its good that people have managed to load Mac OS X on their PC's - regardless of the law. Teaches Apple a lesson for making it bespoke software in the first place so that they can charge the highest price possible for it seeing as no other vendor can sell Mac OS X.

youve done well, the mini 9 is too small, keyboard and screen are a joke, just get a 10inch netbook, I recommend the Asus EEE 1000h

Very cool. Would be great to see what's happening in the system log when you resume from sleep. Maybe keep a terminal running with tail -f /var/logs/system.log before you close the lid.
