I think there should be a separation between the artist and the person. Even if as a person she might have been off the rails, and even reprehensible, she's one of the greatest artist of her generation.

This was the first song I ever saw Amy perform - I was immediately hooked - and followed her ever since - every song - every venue - every move on her genuine truthful rollercoaster life - so it's without reservation that I can say that Amy Winehouse was a perfect lesson for us all - a mirror - the genius of perfection within imperfection - in a world so full of lost souls and freebirds. She was as raw and as real as anyone could ever be, We will remember Amy fondly as an immortal truth.
I think she was just an addictive personality and the drugs got the best of her. No more and no less. I don't think her mind chose it, she started a cycle she could not get off. I love her and always have and will and it sucks that addiction ended her life. Too bad, so sad.
After doing about a 3 week crash course on Winehouse ( the good the bad and the ugly ) I have to say I feel she is one of the better ones the world has put out. England has to take the credit for her, but she is bad fucking ass in a world wide way. She is now a legend, and her whole story is one of the better stories out there from begining to end. She was a fucking bad ass, and all I keep thinking is "what if things were different."
I think people forget just how astounding this performance is considering that she was a mere nineteen years old here. I'm a year younger, and I can say categorically that the depth and richness of the emotion she produces here can be emulated by no other of a similar age.

She did have beautiful eyes - hazel with a hint of green. I've collected the best pictures i could find of her to help me remember her in future. Some of them are stunning and you should do the same. She appeared to deteriorate somewhat after 2007/8, but i've chosen to ignore that and remember her as the unusual but gorgeous creature she was. What a loss :(

This was the first song I ever saw Amy perform - I was immediately hooked - and followed her ever since - every song - every venue - every move on her genuine truthful rollercoaster life - so it's without reservation that I can say that Amy Winehouse was a perfect lesson for us all - a mirror - the genius of perfection within imperfection - in a world so full of lost souls and freebirds. She was as raw and as real as anyone could ever be, We will remember Amy fondly as an immortal truth.

I think she was just an addictive personality and the drugs got the best of her. No more and no less. I don't think her mind chose it, she started a cycle she could not get off. I love her and always have and will and it sucks that addiction ended her life. Too bad, so sad.

After doing about a 3 week crash course on Winehouse ( the good the bad and the ugly ) I have to say I feel she is one of the better ones the world has put out. England has to take the credit for her, but she is bad fucking ass in a world wide way. She is now a legend, and her whole story is one of the better stories out there from begining to end. She was a fucking bad ass, and all I keep thinking is "what if things were different."

I think people forget just how astounding this performance is considering that she was a mere nineteen years old here. I'm a year younger, and I can say categorically that the depth and richness of the emotion she produces here can be emulated by no other of a similar age.

The chords are Gm then A7aug(fret the D-string in the 5th fret then fret the 3 strings below in the 6th fret) then Dm thats the verse.. Then its F and G in the small bridge part. Hope that helps.

I can't believe 4/5 years ago I was like "Urgh I hate Amy Winehouse, she's untalented and she's a drug crazed bint!"....I grew up a hell of a lot since then, she's AMAZING. It's a shame she went through so much heartache. She was SUCH a talented singer/songwriter it's just unreal! Here's hoping Adele will be around for longer. @thisistheending adele cannot compare to amy totally diffrent levels amy changed music she was fresh new with her own style and mixed jazz in to it etc! adele is nothing but a copy you can not feel her connection with adeles songs it just feels like a love song ballad yes she has a good voice but nothing like this

@leannafairfax I think I have to disagree with you there! Adele's songs are written from the heart. So are Amy's I love them both, Amy started off this Jazz/Blues/Soul rebirth into the new generation, and Adele is another powerhouse added to the wonderful style! They're both amazing I just hope Adele has more years ahead of her, and will be in the music industry longer than Amy was. Nothing baaaaaad

I cannot explain how I feel about her passing...I really love her music and am still finding new songs,videos,interviews. I feel at loss ..for a person I have never met. And I find myself defending the insults I heard the day of passing. She was so human like all of us...why cast stones? Anyways... I will miss her Life but I'll always have her music. She did have beautiful eyes - hazel with a hint of green. I've collected the best pictures i could find of her to help me remember her in future. Some of them are stunning and you should do the same. She appeared to deteriorate somewhat after 2007/8, but i've chosen to ignore that and remember her as the unusual but gorgeous creature she was. What a loss :(

I hate this song. I hate the stupid lyrics. But the chords are nice & she sings it well. And it's nice to see her playing guitar instead of just poncing around. I guess she got too strung out to play guitar later in her career.
