The bayonnets are not plastic they are metal. They many not have razor sharp edges but they are metal and they very well could stab you especially how fast they are moving.
@usaf92595 plastic or rubber?really?a real weapon with all of its parts but a plastic or rubber blade?honestly, im guessing you are probably a real person but your brain isnt real. its either plastic or rubber. maybe both.stick to topics you know about 'cause you dont know USAF Drill.
Secondly, that was Gen. Neubauer! I had the privilege and honor of meeting and performing for him & his wife a few weeks ago. He was our guest of honor at our ROTC Dining Out event. He gave an amazing speech and was so fun to be around. We got to talk and take pictures with him and it was so cool. He is one of the coolest AF Officers I've met. I cant even describe it. He had nothing but compliments for me and my fellow performers. Great night!...
I have mad love & respect the USAFHG. I've been admiring them for quite a while and still do. What surprises me about this video is that I was seeing a lot of mistakes. Mistakes I usually don't see in the USAFHG. I say this with nothing but respect when I say, They should've been tighter and they need to get their weight up. Not discrediting there abilities, it's just that I know what they're capable of and make this comment in hopes they'll get better.
well, as it states in the beginning it is the unveiling of the 2008 drill. It was the first time in front of a crowd for many of them doing a drill they had just learned. Give them some time and you will find none better.
Man this is a good video! I really enjoy this year's sequences. I see you at there Bo! Look at that wrist-breaker....I know you see it!! Air Force 'Above All'! Lil' James crushed that DCBack in the line. Crack-a-lack!!

@usaf92595 Real bayonets are quite real. They are not sharpened, but they will still rip you up when a mistake is made.
