I swear you gamer kids never know what you are talking about because you get all of your knowledge from an unreliable source. Those game devs dont always get things right. The original M16 was semi and full auto, as was the m16a1. The M16a2 was semi/burst, the m16a3 (which is an a2 with an a1 lower) is single/full auto and the M16a4 which is current issue is single/burst. The H&K Gewehr 3 (G3) can have either a 2 or 3 position selector switch. The three position offers S/B/FA. te other S/FA.

@t1t296 No it cant, the M16 has not been full auto for a long time. The M16 is semi and burst only these days. The G3 however depends on the lower, it can have semi and full or semi, burst and full auto.

The H&K g3 can fire full auto in real life. As for the m16 that would be the m16A3 in the game. It is basically an m16a2 with an a1 trigger group.

3 round burst is old! like vietnam time or so lol... the military uses semi-auto more effective and saves ammo, lives, and accuracy what they use now is a technique called double tap lol not just fire rapidly! like the game emplies to you, just fire 1 shot then let it recoil fastly pull the stock to your shoulder! then fire another shot aiming both shots at the neck and it results in an instant kill its like getting hit 2 time's with a sludge!!! hammer lol owch!
