This is the English dubbed "Princess Knight" anime - the dub wasnt executed very well but it still carries a certain charm and certainly couldnt disguise the infectious wacky humor that Tezuka put into it, in fact its probably much funnier in English. It is not impossible to acquire on DVD...if you do a search for Princess Knight DVD you will locate establishment where about half the 52 ep. series can be purchased. I have them and they are great!
