@glowkatt First of all ,you dont know nothing about Orthodox faith. No offense, an Orthodox church is the only true church of Christ. If Christ are head, Orthodox Church is his body. Your sect Baptist church or whatever, the Protestant Church Apostol churchs sect and other large number of diferent sects together with the largest Catholic heresy are not in the way of Christ's true faith. You can read the Bible much as you want, the only true Orthodox Christians implement its words into action.

I thank you all who are being kind to me even though i am gay. Everyone sins, whether bad language or violence or any other kind of sin. It is up to the spiritual guide (usually priest) to what to do and whether to take communion, not internet theologians.
Everyone is allowed in church, but not everyone is allowed communion. most serbian orthodox do not take communion every week because they don't go to confession every week. We don't know anyone's circumstances so it is not up to us, but the whole Church through their priest. Not youtube comments.

Turning the other cheek has to do with a personal one on one conflict. It has nothing to do with going to war to defend yourself. Christ himself told the disciples to sell their cloaks to go and buy a sword (luke 22). Even though we can not be Christ, we must always strive to be Christ like. And as Christ said, if you do not forgive people of their sins, God will not forgive you of your sins (mathew 6).

Paul went to Asia Minor and Greece to establish his own faith, which merely borrowed on the loose ideas of a sect of Judaism created by Jesus and his followers. Yeah, and orthodoxy has found it's way into Africa. But most of all, I'm sure that we'll make a stand against the muslims. Reunification of churches is now hardly possible (RCC is now way more different than at the time of Leo IX, so 4 main reasons that cause the Great Schism aren't the only things that RCC is different from OC). And Orthodoxy is thriving in Serbia, Republic of Srpska, Greece, Belarussia, and others, and at many more countries Orthodoxy is manifesting as a true church. There are some orthodox churches in the far east. But most of all Russia stands as the protector of orthodoxy. I'm not saying that other countries are "less orthodox" (I'm Serbian). Every orthodox country has a great importance for the role they have, it's just that the Russia has "a bit more" of a role to play. You know what I mean.

Serbs couldn't turn away from RCC because they were NEVER part of it. We embraced the teachings of the TRUE church from "Grecce". As for the papal politic, "HE" just want to take orthodox believers into degrading position so then he could promote the idea of reunification of churches and position himself as the leader. History is the witness of croatian "mercy" under the banner of pope.
Not all Croats are like that! Please do not generalize. God in His mercy has blessed the Catholic Croats with a land of their own, and if only the Serbs did not turn away from the true Catholic Faith, the Catholic Slovenia and Croatia would not have separated. Of course, it is the duty of the Holy Pope to defend the Flock of Christ. It is good that our Catholic Croatian brothers desire to bring the One Gospel to the Orthodox Serbs!
3) After almost a 1000 years of having no legal state at all, the croats get one at 1991 with the help oh pope and Germany. RCC has worked against the Serbs since XVII or XVIII century, always trying to convert. One of the most practical methods was blackmailing with food. During the lack of food suplies, you could only get food by converting. This was often happening at the regions where Serbs where in contact with croats after they migrated so there weren't any orthodox churches. IC XC NI KA
2) I must commend you for your knowledge about RCC and OC., but you dont't know much about the croats. During the WW2 they massacred nearly a 45% of Serbian population in BiH. Some places like Kozara have not seen a child for 20 years. They have adopted the Hitler's credo of how the 1/3 of Serbs should be converted, 1/3 should be killed and 1/3 should be banished (exodus). I must also say that in the ustashi's camps of death did not only die Serbs but also Jews and gypsies.
1) The croats had no right to separate teritory populated with Serbs from Serbs. Krajina was founded by Serbs to prevent the ottomans from penitrateing into Europe. That teritory was a legacy from Serbs to Serbs.

By falling of from the Church the fallen part looses the blessing of the Apostolic succession - RCC will partake in it once it returns to The One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church.
The reason why ortodox religion is my opinion is beacuse we respect god by showing him how much we love him....not like islamic religion by showing their discipline.

There is one important thing about this matter and we should make it clear- Jesus doesn't want to push away homosexuals as sinners. The Orthodox Church doesn't hate them, but it does consider their sexual choice to be a sin. So, being gay is not a sin, but being proud of being gay and emphasizing that is not appreciated by The Orthodox Church....

I thank you all who are being kind to me even though i am gay. Jesus didn't insult or comdemn or turn away helpless sinners like myself, and so i really think you judgementalists should wake up and smell the coffee. I was a devout catholic and i am having a hard enough time with being gay and entering a new and apparently the True Church... so please, no more hating. Everyone sins, whether bad language or violence or any other kind of sin. It is up to the spiritual guide (usually priest) to what to do and whether to take communion, not internet theologians.
Everyone is allowed in church, but not everyone is allowed communion. most serbian orthodox do not take communion every week because they don't go to confession every week. We don't know anyone's circumstances so it is not up to us, but the whole Church through their priest. Not youtube comments.

Sexual love was set between a man and a woman in the monogamous marriage, as Jesus stated. Love is not only sexual, your quote referrs to brotherly love, agape, not sexual love.

Turning the other cheek has to do with a personal one on one conflict. It has nothing to do with going to war to defend yourself. Christ himself told the disciples to sell their cloaks to go and buy a sword (luke 22). Even though we can not be Christ, we must always strive to be Christ like. And as Christ said, if you do not forgive people of their sins, God will not forgive you of your sins (mathew 6).

No it wasn't. Paul created Christianity and he never met Jesus and was actually ejected from the "church" in Jerusalem by his actual remaining diciples including brother James. Paul went to Asia Minor and Greece to establish his own faith, which merely borrowed on the loose ideas of a sect of Judaism created by Jesus and his followers. Peter started the church in Rome, so he actually has a clearer claim, even thought both forms are really polytheistic and a mix of Judaism and Paganism.

Yeah, and orthodoxy has found it's way into Africa. But most of all, I'm sure that we'll make a stand against the muslims. There will come a time when I and you and everybody else must make a stand for what I/you/they believe. Reunification of churches is now hardly possible (RCC is now way more different than at the time of Leo IX, so 4 main reasons that cause the Great Schism aren't the only things that RCC is different from OC). And Orthodoxy is thriving in Serbia, Republic of Srpska, Greece, Belarussia, and others, and at many more countries Orthodoxy is manifesting as a true church. There are some orthodox churches in the far east. But most of all Russia stands as the protector of orthodoxy. I'm not saying that other countries are "less orthodox" (I'm Serbian). Every orthodox country has a great importance for the role they have, it's just that the Russia has "a bit more" of a role to play. You know what I mean.

Serbs couldn't turn away from RCC because they were NEVER part of it. We embraced the teachings of the TRUE church from "Grecce". As for the papal politic, "HE" just want to take orthodox believers into degrading position so then he could promote the idea of reunification of churches and position himself as the leader. God in His mercy has blessed the Catholic Croats with a land of their own, and if only the Serbs did not turn away from the true Catholic Faith, the Catholic Slovenia and Croatia would not have separated. 3) After almost a 1000 years of having no legal state at all, the croats get one at 1991 with the help oh pope and Germany. RCC has worked against the Serbs since XVII or XVIII century, always trying to convert. One of the most practical methods was blackmailing with food. During the lack of food suplies, you could only get food by converting. This was often happening at the regions where Serbs where in contact with croats after they migrated so there weren't any orthodox churches. IC XC NI KA

2) I must commend you for your knowledge about RCC and OC., but you dont't know much about the croats. During the WW2 they massacred nearly a 45% of Serbian population in BiH. Some places like Kozara have not seen a child for 20 years. They have adopted the Hitler's credo of how the 1/3 of Serbs should be converted, 1/3 should be killed and 1/3 should be banished (exodus). I must also say that in the ustashi's camps of death did not only die Serbs but also Jews and gypsies.

Patriarch of Antioch is the first successor of St. Peter. Second, keys were given to all Apostles (read a bit of St. Augustine - you'll be surprised). Third, Bishops are successors of Apostles - they aren't the Apostles. And fourth, Apostolic Succession is in the Church - not in an individual. By falling of from the Church the fallen part looses the blessing of the Apostolic succession - RCC will partake in it once it returns to The One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church.

The reason why ortodox religion is my opinion is beacuse we respect god by showing him how much we love him....not like islamic religion by showing their discipline.

It is NOT EASY to be a christian and to love one's enemies. But our Lord was explicit on this. No shadings to it, we have to do it, otherwise we are NOT his followers. I find this the most difficult commandement for me to follow, but I must, if I want to see my God one day. Rejoice my brothers and sisters, CHRIST HAS RISEN!
