@Tyrik73 No according to the game developers behind Deception, Kung Lao was killed by Shang Tsung. Kitana was killed by Quan Chi, Sonya, Johnny, and Jax were killed by the Tarkatans, Kenshi was left for dead by Mavado but found and nursed back to health by Sub-Zero who had been betrayed by Frost who got consumed by her own power amplified by the Dragon Medallion, Cyrax was sent back to Earthrealm as part of his deal with Nitara, And Bo Rai Cho managed to stop Li Mei's Soul from being put in....
