Some high school students teach elementary and colleges are so behind they are now teaching what they taught almost 2 decades ago in high school. Actually you should look at the Swedish example . During the Cold war, Sweden´s approach where a sort of "third way" a compromise between Capitalism and Socialism. And I think we "won" the cold war. Free education and free health care to every Citizens. Call it whatever you like but the Scandinavians are in top when it comes to standard of living!

we provoke countries constantly. we make ourselves a target. these occupations, invasions, and military intimidation is what gets us into the messes that our government claims we need even more military might to stop. countries don't hate us without good reason. we give them reasons to hate us. it's called western imperialism.

Instead of ultra-librals reading Marxism 101 and thinking that it is the end-all, be-all govm't, travel to N. Korea, Cuba, dictatorships in Africa, etc... Socialism is not free rainbows and flying unicorns for everyone and we all hold hands and sing coombyya.

Let me explain how this works. Instead of giving some (and some DEADBEATS) insurance like Medicare/Medicaid EVERYONE gets it. The fee is taken out of your paycheck in the form of TAXES. The US pays a much higher rate of income tax than the UK does right now because they are spending it on other things.
Why should Bob down the road get free insurance for a bad back when he had no problem making 15 kids with that bad back? YES, I actually KNOW a man with that many kids, on disability.

I would like to know how many of these people have ever been to a country where there is a dictator.... I have never been in a country with an official dictator but i do live in egypt as an expatriot and they have had the same "president" for 25 years.... and these people whine and complain about no healthcare... even tho The US has its flaws, its still a hell of alot better than most of the world and since not alot of people have spent alot of time overseas they dont see that.
