  • real or not, it brings money to someone.

  • It is very possible that this is the actual tomb where Jesus was laid. In fact, its 99% likely that this is really the actual tomb. :)

  • jesus was buried in a new rock tomb 2000 yrs a go and styles and fashion changed slowly. but the style and fashion of this tomb is between 600_800 yrs older than the time of jesus. so unless the he was buried in an older tomb how can this be jesus tomb wene the bible tells us he was buried in a new tomb??

  • Not trying to be mean jesus is awesome but how does anyone know if this ia the tomb if jesus went to heaven and wasnt found wgen the cave was re opened

  • i'm sure someone in the family took the body out of the cave and hide someplace then tell the story that he acutally went to heaven or whatever. when rome soldiers killed him on the cross with the spear and they bought the body to the cave. men who carry the body, told jesus' wife not to come in the cafe until next morning and of course, the body wasn't there.

  • hi yes this is his tomb from the sabbath keeper. i lkie xit and thank you

  • All we know from the Bible is that Joseph of Arimathaea hurriedly provided a tomb for Jesus (Matthew 27:57-61; Luke 23:50-56; John 19:38-42). Are there any clues in these verses to where this was? Were there any specific markings mentioned? What evidence supports this claim that the Garden Tomb is the exact burial place of Jesus?

  • So when did they figure out this was the burial place of Jesus Christ? Cause I surely don't remember anyone unearthing this maginificent piece of history?

  • TheIRONMANPRO take it easy brov it's not always an easy thing to believe and feel like your in Js love because we doubt and also the way the world is with pretty much everything we do going against the gospel ( it seems)... I found out u can get a little obsessed too with religion so sometimes we need a break. He won't have left u I Dnt think.. Just when ur ready and ul know when accept him back into your heart and simply trust.

  • Has Anybody Wondered What Would Happen If We Opened Hes His Tomb?lol

  • from 0:22 to 0:45 i can see a light that keep appearing and disappearing

  • i dont know why i am commenting here , but i once believed in jesus 9 months ago....how he saved me from addictions can't b wriiten in words.....whenevr i see anything related to Jesus..i become internally emotional...sometimes tears....i dont know what is this....but now i lefted him...

  • hi... i m not christian... can sum1 tell me...how human get into dis place...? n watz d evidence dat dis is d x'ct place...?

  • @poojadutt786 Well, humans can visit it easily; it is located at the old city of Jerusalem and opened to tourists.

The significance is, it gives u a personal testimony about the death and resurrection of Christ. He died to save us from our sins to make it possible for us to receive eternal life after our life hear on Earth.

  • Is this tha real tomb of Jesus where he was put?Or its just a thought?

  • @stansa232 -It is speculated to be the real tomb, as others.

  • @stansa232 the true and real one!!!

It is easy to understand why protestants had to find another place for them to believe it was Jesus' tomb: they feel extremely bad inside the Holy Sepulcher where they are fully exposed to the reality that their religion is a recent deviation of the traditonal Christian Churches (Catholics and Orthodox). They find nothing inside the real place of Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection that they can connect to Protestantism. It must be really embarrassing for them.

  • @AndreaSPitaim >What makes you so sure this is not the 'Real Site' of Christ's burial? the Church of the Holy Sepulcher's location has never been proven the correct spot! Plus it is well argued that Golgatha and the tomb were situated North of Jerusalem's walls not west as TCofTHS is...I'm Roman Catholic by the way, but I don't blindly go where they tell me to.Besides this tomb follows biblical discription to a 'T' as does the near by Golgatha (place of the skull).

  • @Flagrum3 Very easy: the Bible says the tomb was new and nobody had been put there. Well, Gordon's tomb is no doubt from before the 1st century. If you are a catholic you should say: "the Holy Sepulcher location has never been proven to be wrong" instead of the opposite. Only protestants recently started to controvert the Holy Sepulcher location, because they obviously feel excluded in a place heavilly full of catholic and orthodox secular traditions.

  • @AndreaSPitaim >Sorry but how can you say "Gordon's tomb is no doubt from before the 1st century"? There is no absolute way of dating a tomb unless something is found in it! This tomb was empty!, But outside the tomb stuck in the wall is some metal (which they believe may have been used in the sealing of the stone) which just happens to date exactly to the 1st century and has the metal compounds similar to Roman metallurgy...con't

  • @Flagrum3 >This is not an argument over Protestants and Catholics, this is a historical, archaeological argument.I'm not saying the traditional site is NOT the true sight, but that it is not known for sure.So other sites found should be studied also.Remember the trad'l site was discovered in the 4th century by Constantine's mother and the location was given to her by a merchant...not very archaeological. Also being Catholic doesn't mean I should follow 'Blindly' where some say true locations are.

  • @Flagrum3 I could give you an exhaustive explanation about how a tomb can be dated without having something inside, but I am sure you can find it by yourself doing simple research on the net. AND I didn't say you should follow anything bindly, only that as catholic you should show preference for what is reasonable and has been continuously believed by generations. AND that if you want to question the location of the Holy Sepulcher, you should search another place than Gordon's tomb.

  • @AndreaSPitaim >Then please do! -Try a compressed version.Because I have researched the topic and found not much on it, except they would go by pottery, arch-style, tools etc; so other then style (which is not trustworthy) they need to find artifacts within it or surrounding the find, to feel even half-sure of the date.AND yes you did say I should blindly show preverence to the traditional site only because I'm catholic and it has been followed for centuries. Not enough evidence for me, sorry.

  • @Flagrum Show preference for what is reasonable is completely different from blindly believe. SORRY if you don't understand it. If you like Protestant Gordon's place, than be all Catholics guest to prefer it... it won't change anything at all.

  • He is not here For he is risen!

  • was Jesus buried undernieth that gold dirt?

  • @haileylovesmakeup1 no, he was rapped and placed on it with the stone serving as the cover of the tomb

  • Jesus Christ forever

  • that's the spirit!

  • oh mine.....the burial place of Christ!!! must see it some day......utterly awesome!!!!
