  • LOL, hilarious :)

  • this is so cute!!! it helps me to learn what the horses are thinking, but the horse i ride goes over anything as long as you give him rein and direct him in the right direction!!!

  • 0:38 the horse didnt go over cause 1) its to high and 2) there is a crossrail and the horse wont have time to regather its self.....but great video :P

  • haha this is actually quite funny

  • My horse is probably watching this like "Well, Chloe keeps trying to train me not to refuse or run out, but apparently I'm doing everything right! :D'

    Ohgod! haha

  • You say all these tips on tightning your reins and everything when all of the riders in the clips just need to sit back.. they keep leaning up the horses neck

  • hahahahahahahahahahahahaaahahahahahahahaha i cant stop laughing oh my gut this is funny but it is right!

  • know your horse, partnership is important recipe for success.

  • The stride bit cracked me up!

  • the grey horse is sooo pretty!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • My parents bought me a proffesional jumper when i had only 2 years riding experience and hes done all the things in the video whenever my riding hasnt been perfect but today we are an amazing team with an incredible bond. so when your horse misbehaves dont get angry with him think about what you could improve on!

  • My horse used to do that ALL the time in the beginning

  • Hope that my horse never sees that video! lol

  • Yeah have patience

  • A TIP: You can not EXPECT a horse to go over jumps. Give your horse a small kick before the jump. Make sure you lean forward, loose rein, hold on the mane and have confidence. I've listened and it actully works. Make this top comment so everyone can see it? Thanks

  • i swear my horse has seen this vdieo! hes fine in the arena but at shows he just likee nop not jumping :L xxx

  • cute!!

  • hahah this video is genius. I swear, my mare is watching this right now laughing. But she HAS taught me to be a stronger and more confident rider, in exactly the ways you describe in the video. great job! :)

  • @livelovemusic1694 Thanks, yes horses can teach u to get it right .. lol

  • This has actually helped me haha! i know its all a joke but after watching this i have really started to think more about my horse! (im not syaing that i didnt before.. just now its ALOT more) hehe, thanks so much xx

  • Haha great video.

  • @xDesrosiersable Thanks though tit would be funny

  • the horse i was riding trained me this way.. :D:D on my first competition i jumped only 2 fences.. on my second competition i jumped 2 fences again..on my third competiotion i didn't jump the first fence :D well i think the horse trained me well and we became good team .. :D but now i ride another horse.. nice video! :) (sorry my english isn't very good :D )

  • @teedii35 Thanks

  • what is this song..its so cool..i dont remember this song..

  • @animalwisperer see that's the problem with people like you, your too thick to understand that there is a fine line between confident, and cocky. There are the people who walk into the the ring and won't look at you cause their snobby, than people like me who won't look at you because waiting ringside, I'm focused. Once you learn that, you'll better yourself as a rider.

  • Lolz

  • haha, great vid! lol XD

  • change the title ...this is just a video of a bunch of idiots!

  • 0:24 she was cantering to slow lol

  • Aha I love this! It's true, too. :) I'm a beginner jumper and I'm always fiddling right before the jump. :3

  • lol mi pony is a fan of the jump from a standstill :P

  • This was funny :)

  • woah something went wrong with those posts

  • lmfao :P!

  • @k6989100

ITS A JOKE VIDEO...KEEP UP!!! LOL

  • Your supposed to make the horse jump the jump no matter what because when you let then stop or dodge the jump the horse will think its alright to do that if they don't want to jump then they shouldn't be put up for the tast of jumping

  • @k6989100 yes but what if the horse is 3 times the size of, if he doesn't want to do it he can just easily refuse no matter what you do. Kicking and pulling at the bit isn't going to stop that. Plus this is what we call "comedy" ;)

  • @k6989100 yes but what if the horse is 3 times the size of you, if he doesn't want to do it he can just easily refuse no matter what you do. Kicking and pulling at the bit isn't going to stop that. Plus this is what we call "comedy" ;)

  • ._.'

  • Lol some of the comments are making me laugh haha!

Especially all the comments where people think this is a real guide and dont know it's a joke haha!

Better not show the po' this, he takes it to extremes haha!

  • @cassiemyclyde yes u would thin the title HORSE training Rider would give it a way but hey hoo cant make everyone see its a joke,

  • @poolsproperty Yep lol! and it's quite self explanitory haha!

  • this might not be the safest approach........

  • 55 lol... he was just like BIG CANTER...... NOPE!

  • In this video you made some valid points, but I think some are a little off. I have been jumping my entire life. 1st off I know plenty of people who jump, and in the beg. were timid of doing so, they are all GREAT riders. 2nd It is NOT acceptable for a horse to dart after a jump, many riders try to slow their horses down to much before the hurdle, the RIDER MUST know their horse and work together. 3rd Having a big ego isn't always bad. If go out and ride like your the best, you will be the best.

  • @BearJew8790 i made this video as a joke to show ... not as a real guide ...

  • @poolsproperty

omg!! sooo many ppl think this is real!!! -.- :P this was funny though!! :)

  • @BearJew8790 She was joking!!! Your 3rd point, no but if you walk around like you think your the best then most of the time you come across as a snob!

  • Joking!!! 3rd point- When you walk around like you think your top notch most of the time you come across as a snob!

  • good tips i will need them :)

  • i am not an expert at this and i am not giving advice to any1 but i do have my opinion on this based on what i have tried you can correct me if im wrong

i beleive that before a jump you must shorted your reins lean back to lock the horse forward untill you reach the jump and when you think its the rite moment to jump get in to the 2 point position this way if the horse is to refuse he wont turn left or right trying to run away (just like the video) in fact it will stay standing in its place.

  • @4800VTCTurbo yep your right, this video i made as a joke because i wanted to & have plenty of video of jumping going wrong

  • i ride western and am training to be a reiner. I've always wanted to ride english though, this video definitely made my want to ride a english a little stronger

  • @xxBlackVeilBridexx English is amazing. I have ridden both and both are lots of fun. Jumping just gives you rush and its something you just cant replace

  • i love this video

    :)

  • What a cute video :)

  • I really like this. A friend and I are planning to start taking lessons together soon. She already has experience, but I'm going to be new. I want to learn to jump. It will be awhile before I reach that point, but I definitely see myself reflected in this video. I'll try to remember everything you said! :)

  • Yahhh This is AWESOME!!!!!! SOOOO SUBBED!!!

  • This is a great video! im having confidence issues with jumping myself and its not nice not at all. I know its more me thats at fault rather than blame my horse. going to keep watching this - thanks for makinh it. x

  • I'm just saying if your going to have your best friend work hard for you, be the one who takes care of him in his time of need, retire him, love him, hug him, and tell him thank you for doing your best., now its your time to rest and be a home since you did your best for me I will return the favor. My horses are life time pets. Some I can't ride, some I can but at the end of the day they will never leave because that is my thank you to them for letting me be privileged enough to ride them.

  • this may of helped with me and my horse.. he seems really nervouse doing new jumps

  • i really like this video everytime i jump i am going to think about this as im going to pony club this weekand for the first time wish me luck LOL ;)

  • @katrinahorselover good luck & thanks

  • @poolsproperty wow this is amazingly right

  • This is a great video! And I'm guilty of so much of what you mention. Great point of view!

  • Why I hate horse jumping is because I get the victims of this sport. Injured horses are shipped either for meat or to rescues trying to rehome them, which is not a easy task. I know if done properly horses are usually fine till they age, all that work catches up with them and leads to life long problems.....People are foolish to believe that someone who jumps keeps that horse till it dies at 30. They think they can rehome them to good homes and it sometimes leads to abuse and neglect.

  • @dutchbeauty this is what people say about every horse sport. every sport is hard on any animal.. whether it be horse, human, dog, etc. and this is not true to the sport. maybe some (few) people but not all.

  • Nice Vid but Too Bad Horses cant read your good tips

  • really good advice

    really funny point of view!!!!

    :c)

  • @lilPonyRockers Thanks

  • ha ha thats an eccelent vidio and its refreshing to see somebody realise their mistakes and not blame the horse , its difficult ( ha ha i know :P ) but you seem like a great rider , some of those jumps were h-uge !! and the white horse was beautiful !!

  • Love this video! I´m a beginer on jumps and well... It´s not SOOO hard than I thoght! It´s so good when I jump in a horse... Í allways think that I´m flying in a pegasus... It´s so good! :)

  • Aha love this vid, im sure a lot of the horses I work with would agree(especially to the reward bit but don't tell them that!) Although horses , with patience, can overcome just about anything. They are forgiving creatures :) This is ridonculus, love it.

  • My aunt is teaching me to ride and this video acually helped me realize some things im doing and her point of veiw :)

  • u r soo right! after 11 years of riding and training i can honestly say that everything you said is probably true haha. you have a true gift, you know what the horses want and feel.

  • amazing!

  • The grey with the long mane is absalughtly beautifl

  • good examples....... some of the facts though r a bit off......

  • Sorry but i found this video to be really spiteful, i would hope that if i happened to be worried about a jump, or holding the reins maybe too tight, that instead of risking breaking my neck by refusing a jump, my horse; my team mate, would stick with me, keep me safe and do the best they can!

  • thanks for the tips.. and i did number 8 one day went into the jump and landed on my neck.... the horse weht the other way and i went to the juump.. hurt :(

  • The white horse is gorgeous and looks like a beautiful jumper, but I would never buy a horse that rushes his fences like that. A bit of gusto a few strides before the fence is fine but running at the fence is dangerous! I'm not cut out for top-speed types of horses XD Props to the rider for being calm and staying on without pulling too hard!

  • heeheehee love it

  • hey im not trying to be harsh or rude or anything, but this is not the proper way to jump. you have beautiful horses and everything, but you can tell they do not like jumping, and the riders are not ready for it yet. im currently training my horse right now, and that is deffinatley not how. some of the stuff in the video is right, but you should edit it a bit. sorry again not trying to be rude! thanks! :)

  • @peggs1223 I agree. If the horses are refusing this much, obviously there's a problem. Some of the jumps looked way too big, and the riders really didn't seem to have a firm grasp of what they were doing. I rode with my instructor for eight years, and there were only a handful of jump refusals for anyone at the barn because the horses and riders were always ready for what was being asked. A horse might want to refuse, but the horse should trust the rider enough to go over when it's asked right.

  • @TheGoddessofJudecca

same here. great funny video but ur def right now that i think about it.

  • wat type of horse is the white one? he/she is beautiful!

  • Cool Video, Do you have a horse or pony?

  • its brill :) subbed sub back maybe? x oops sorry you already subbed :)

  • its brill :) subbed sub back maybe? x

  • Haha this made me laugh! Funny vid (:

  • horses wont jump a fence if the rider is, say, not showing that they are confident because then the horse will feel less confident. if you dont 'go with' the horse to the jump whilst reasuring it that you are doing it too, then it wont jump. for instance if you sit there and do nothing the horse will obviously take advantage of that and refuse the fence. push your horse towards the fence and dont take it on if neither you or the horse is ready. these riders are leaning forward all the time.

  • for the 1st one, i think thats wrong because if the rider didn't want to jump it then the horse should show them who's boss and jump it so they can see how fun it is.

  • I think my pony watched this lol! At least it taught me how to jump in the right position.

    Great vid btw.

  • LOL:]

  • Really neat to see jumping from the horse's point of view :)

  • I loved it...you think it would be an eye-opener to all that have had this happen but then again if this is repetitive in their horse experience they wouldnt understand. hahaha

  • @longhrons1 Thanks

  • LOL Love the vid and all the horses are beautiful. May I ask which country you live in?

  • @53XXX21 Thanks, I live in Spain but im from England

  • @poolsproperty i live in spain but from australia xP

  • ahh i love this video :), it quite funny how some people dont "catch on" too :D x

  • @stardustmypony Thankyou

  • this never gets old haha! and some of it is quite true xD

  • you are in wonderful humor for so many people being retarded and not catching the meaning of your video. I loved it! I particularly enjoyed the 'harrier jump jet method' quality!

  • @RunningCantalope Thanks, i wonder sometimes some people dont get it!

  • I love this video! I'm sure my horse would too :)

  • Um, the horse is not supposed to be the boss, the rider is. And a horse should not refuse a jump. Plus the people in the video aren't that great at jumping..

  • Um, the horse is NOT the boss, the rider is, and a horse should not refuse a jump.

  • This is the stupidedst thing I ever watched the horse is not the boss, the rider is! A horse souldn't puposely diss a jump.. like what... do you think horses understand this? Cause if they did.. we would have A BUNCH of bad horses!

  • urmm ive seen ur vids and theres lk 5 refusals in em all and ur trying to tell people how to jump teach urself properly first

  • @winterjmpr16 Thanks, yes all either me riding or videos i taken of others i know

  • Oh my god! This is like the best video ever! SOOOOO true! If my horse saw this viedo he would say i agree tell my rider that! Humerous, inspiring, true, clever, all the best qualities for a video!

  • @dustylubber03 Thanks xxx

  • @poolsproperty Sure!

  • LOL nice video I'm at school right now for jmping andi totally understand your point in making this video i hope others do too.

  • Love it!!! When I was Learning to jump my horse was a great teacher...LOL

  • i looove this video it actually helped my confidence when i jump!

  • Ummm, I think the rider should be boss. Are you sure you know what your talking about?!? You shouldn't teach people that the horse is in control. Just some advice..

  • @HorseRiderForever812 Its called a JOKE ever heard of one. I think she knows well enough. But good point tho.

  • @dustylubber03 so your saying this whole video was a joke haha suree.. and i dont think she knows.

  • @HorseRiderForever812 YES its my English sense of hummor .. we like to laugh at ourselves & make fun of how a horse can train its rider .. its not for riders .. lol

  • Well Highley I think well put together Video =)

  • this is really kind of helping me b more confident of jumping. i want to try some time but first i have to get down my 2 pointing and posting :)

  • @HorsePaintCrazy i have the oposite issue im scared to canter my pony as last time i tried i ended up bolting i stayed on but she was buccking and rearing and everything i was shaking

  • @PeskyPonyLover omg! thats happened to me before!!!

  • @HorsePaintCrazy my friend said on charlotte just hang on hanging on isnt eawsy when u cant grip

  • Weeeiirrddddd.

  • this is really cute. sadly, i dont think horses are that smart. lol some may be, but at least not mine! lol i love them to death (horses) but they are animals. lol

  • that is awesome haha good thinkin lol well good horse thinkin too i guess haha so true and funnyy XP

  • bahaha this is awesome!

  • aaahaha clever. love it!

  • Ahah this is great <3

a nice sense of humor and very true on

how some horses act, and kinda should act with riders x)

(as long as they aren't in the show ring )

  • wow you sound a little bitter towards students. Are you the trainer?

  • great video, congrats on an excellent idea!:) what amazes me is that some people actually don't get it...

  • @chegilefan thanks, i did it for a fun idea, mr too dont see why some cant get it as that

  • it is great. from the horses point of view.

  • I love it! I never would have thought of doing anything like this!

  • A couple of horses I know need to watch AND take notes on tip number 8!

  • I think my horse has read this :P she takes good care of me

  • i love this video it is amazing keep making more your great at it

  • lol, this is cute ^^

I guess some riders need to see the horse's point of view!

  • lol this is SOOOOOO funny!

  • this is funny

  • LOL this is funny, and to all those people saying its stupid, its ment for laugh, everyone needs a laugh every once and a while so dont diss the maker for wanting to give that. I loved it lol, but yet its so very true lol

  • This is so great! I think I'm going to make it a "Mandatory Documentary" for my students to watch. ;-) Great sense of humor, and SO TRUE! I love it!

  • @danteoats Thanks, i think u need a sense of humor to jump! xxx

  • @poolsproperty forgot one thing: If the rider is not planing on jumping and not paying attention, run out from under them and fly over a jump! (that was my horribly experience of a first jump)

  • such a pretty horse love it

  • lol thats kowl!
