This looks alot more fun then SF 4,this plays just like Rival schools.I should have given this game a chance.I think one of the reasons alot of people did`nt like this cause it does`nt play like your standard Street Fighter game.I should`nt have never listened to magazine reviewers.If a fighting game don`t play like a standard Street fighter game or VF alot of reviewers are not gonna give a fighting game high scores.They feel every fighting game should play like VF or Street Fighter 2.

3rd Strike may be a good game; hell, it might even be great. But it's not exactly what I think of when I think Street Fighter. When was the last time anyone used a fireball in it? Also, why even have chip damage if you can mash buttons to avoid it?

@barlog20: Okay, that's perfectly fair. Alpha had the Isms and limited block capability, 3rd Strike had...uh, parrying, SF4 has Super Armor and Focus Attack Dash Cancelling. So I don't think there's any need to worry about Street Fighter games feeling the same. ;)

Everytime a 3d fighting game comes out, someone always puts Tekken's name in the comments trying to belittle the game and promote Tekken at the same time. They even belittle Virtua Fighter. Not saying that Tekken is a bad game. In fact, it's great, but the fighting game community needs to grow more as it did during the mid 90s to early 2000s, where there were fighting games galore. Give more fighting games a chance.

Don't worry i feel ya man. Ex was great, I was hoping for a Alpha 4, Capcom VS SNK 3 or Ex 4 but no such luck. I find a MVSCapcom3 to be totally useless.

I'd perfer a Capcom VS SNK 3. Now that game had a lot of depth.

I find marvel vs capcom 3 was just mad to appeal to an American audience.

But I wouldn't mind play it though. I just feel there are better options

@ajtemp2000 well now that the sf4 franchise is out you know the ex series got dug into the ground 6 more feet. marvel vs capcom was fun. If you actually take time to play it you will notice that it's actually pretty good. hell it was better then sf4 gameplay wise. I mean guile, by himself, from marvel vs capcom could easily kick most of sf4's cast easily. sf4 was neat visually but they really stripped down the speed and variety game play wise, almost to it's bare basics.

Marvel vs capcom 2 was my shit I used to play it hours straight every day. I just feel i could could go with something better. Playing SF4 is like when they had Tenkaichi 3 then made Raging blast. The game play was downgraded. Snk vs capcom feels more likely, and the character are similar. But varied and much different from capcom, it's perfect. Just makes for a better more rounded fighter.
