i have a Lenovo and when i try to make the fingerprint password it keeps saying the application is a error or something, i need help please this is frustrating.
@eVBM You are correct. This misinformation happens often as I research on biometrics. People need to know, the OS is secure against an average hacker “logging into Windows”. One is still able to boot into the recovery console where they hack an admin password (although with Win7 disabling the 'admin' account one needs to know the name of the account (which is why I turn off the GUI & type usernames in)).
The most secure option is encrypting the HDD. Data is remains safe even if HDD is swapped.
@MissLilCutie44 Swipe your finger. Then in your top left corner a red fingerprint with a X will pop up. The a balloon will pop up in your lower right corner. It should say " Do you want to enroll a new finger?" and under that " Click this Balloon. And do so. Then a window will pop up. Click on "swipe finger" and select enter password. The enter password and hopefully the previous owner didnt register every finger.

I have this computer. The only downfall is that when you do forget the password (like me) you cant use the finger print reader to reset it
