  • Sweet! I got the HP 6515b

  • It helps if you know how to use a fucking fingerprint scanner

  • lol this shit has been out for a long time... u just got out of the cave or something?

  • @ExtraTerrestrials Look at the date it was posted...

  • whats your laptop

  • You didn't show us how it works you faggot

  • just replace the hard drive?

  • they dont HAVE to have your fingerprints, you would be surprised how determined some ppl are to get into your laptop, EVEN WITHOUT THE PASSWORD/FINGERPRINT!!!!!

  • i have a Lenovo and when i try to make the fingerprint password it keeps saying the application is a error or something, i need help please this is frustrating.

  • @thatshortkid310 Come by our chatroom at l i v e . e r i c j e s s . c o m and ask your question I am sure they can help :)

  • @erichereatthetube ok thanx :D

  • Correct me if i'm wrong but i don't think that this fingerprint security would do much good if someone would just try to rewrite the os with a cd.

  • @eVBM You are correct. This misinformation happens often as I research on biometrics. People need to know, the OS is secure against an average hacker “logging into Windows”. One is still able to boot into the recovery console where they hack an admin password (although with Win7 disabling the 'admin' account one needs to know the name of the account (which is why I turn off the GUI & type usernames in)).

The most secure option is encrypting the HDD. Data is remains safe even if HDD is swapped.

  • I have this computer. The only downfall is that when you do forget the password (like me) you cant use the finger print reader to reset it

  • @MrSuperGamerz Yeah that is odd....

  • @erichereatthetube dont woory I used offline nt and registry editor to get the password back

  • @MrSuperGamerz Hey i bought this laptop used, and the previous fingerprint is saved, i reseted the password, but i donno how to reset the fingerprint

  • @MissLilCutie44 Swipe your finger. Then in your top left corner a red fingerprint with a X will pop up. The a balloon will pop up in your lower right corner. It should say " Do you want to enroll a new finger?" and under that " Click this Balloon. And do so. Then a window will pop up. Click on "swipe finger" and select enter password. The enter password and hopefully the previous owner didnt register every finger.

  • Whats the name of the program running it?

  • I has this laptop :P
