You know... you're right kinda... we aren't at war, we're policing a group. Difference is Vietnam was a country so it fit the definition of war. See, for us to have a war, it needs to be against a country, not a group. Otherwise we can't declare war (something our politicians must forget). But. Since this isn't a war, who's to say that I should be bound by any of the rules of war?
