Smokey got a kick out of it b/c his daughter did not know her father had written and sung this song. He does an awesome job. Saw him in England and he is loved over there. His comments about the Beatles, which were said just to gain media attention, were made BEFORE his debut album came out. That debut album went on to sell millions of copies and made TTD a huge star for roughly two or so years. Again...all this happened AFTER the Beatles comment. Therefore that remark did not "ruin" his career.

The settlement documents clearly state that it was settlement for negligence (not molestation) and that the prosecution (Chandlers) ARE ALLOWED to pursue the criminal case afterwards against Jackson.
