I have loved these guys all my life. My Mother told me how when she was a young girl that these fella's came on the scene and were a smash with ALL the "kids". Well Mom, nothing has changed except that you guys have passed on. Still a smash with all the "kids", the memories remain and the laughter will never die.
@4QBUD So many great comments here about Harpo and The Marx Brothers(my heroes!) Yours sums up their unique talent & individualism the best. If there's one group that can bridge one,two or even three generation it's most certainly these guys. Just think it's way over 100 years since the boys first took to the vaudeville stages! Truly classic, inspirational, legendary & of course-wildly funny!
It's hard to imagine such sweet melodies came from a clown like Harpo. Looks at the conviction in his face while he plays. A stark contrast to the whirlwind of slapstick genius when in character.

He and his brothers were comic legends.
His life, though hard, was wonderful and he lived every day of his life purely for laughs and those he loved.
A true clown, and a true artist.
He is my greatest, and perhaps only, real hero. Both in-character and out.
Rest in peace Harpo, you were (and still are) an inspiration and joy to watch.
