  • mozarts lacrimosa in the introduction of sebben crudele from antonio caldara? hmmmm

wrong breathing, articulate clearer. learn the pronouncing of the italian words. keep your throat open in the high tones...

  • Linda voz, está cantando con las pistas del libro por eso se escucha tan rápido. Falta un poquitín de trabajo en la pronunciación. Estoy segura de que con un acompañamiento en vivo y al corregir la pronunciación será preciosa su interpretación.

  • yes...too faaaaast, tooooo faast

Good you are now 18...I think....

  • @LovelessRitsukaAoyag Haha, I'm actually 19 now.

  • @forevrnluv247 Jeje I saw...after I wrote it, sorry...still you can consider me your fan =P I've seen other videos you post it and I love it n_n specially the song you wrote

  • Do you take lessons?

  • @SilverDollarCityGirl I do now. I didn't when I recorded this video.

  • @forevrnluv247 Wow! That is amazing!

  • i did not expect that

  • it was great! Very beautiful!

  • I'm doing this same song for a solo for choir competitions in the spring. I thinks this video helped me out

  • apart from being a bit behind with the music it sounds good but when you go to the lower notes make sure you treaat them like the higher notes, it sounds weird but yeah and this sounds weird aswell but try wen ur singin aim the notes in your head, sorri fr the critism but yu asked for it so yep but great!! keep tryin

  • Freaking love it u sound really good no lie better breathing could be used but overall amazing you really have a future in music and will make it very far ;)

  • Only 15 when you recorded this? Wow. I'm 17 and am not even close to sounding that amazing. Of course there are things you could of improved on, but you were only 15. I'd love to see a video of you singing this now.

  • @Pineyhatesyou Maybe I can work something out so I can do that. ^_^

  • @Pineyhatesyou If you go to the link in the info on this page, you can see me singing the song at my current age. ^_^

  • try to use ur vowiles and its so upose to be slower

  • Ok... So I'm singing this for my district choir/ All-state choir auditions. I've notice some small errors that can be easily adjusted. Your pronounciation was off quite a bit in the song, and you really need to work on your breath support and singing posture, you were too relaxed for singing. I would rate it five out of ten.

  • Are you kidding!?! You are AMAZING!! It would take a very rude, ignorant person to critique your singing! I WISH I could sing like you!!!

  • @jens7lil1s I agree that she's amazing, but the comments I see here are nothing but constructive criticism...they're meant to help her get even better :) I also think she should adjust her breathing so that she's not breathing in the middle of a sentence- but other than that, she has a very, very good voice!

  • pronunciation and breathing need work. don't forget to roll your r's

  • How old are you?

    Good voice.

    Try a playback more slow.

  • @tvdarktv I was 15 when I recorded this. I'm 18 now.

  • AMAZING!!!!!

  • Sounds like you're holding your voice back at the A section (Sebben Crudele.....), It's much more free in the middle section.

Also, when you see double consonants in italian, you have to pronounce them like they are double, otherwise you get 'seben.'

Theres a famous line from a song that always gets people with poor diction, where Anni means 'years' and 'ani' means 'ass,' a pretty young girl of sixteen years becomes a pretty young girl of sixteen asses.

    QUITE a difference :-p

  • ups 2007...

  • Hi!

On the last lap trying not to repeat the same motif sequence. Your sensitivity is significant. I think you have a good attitude. The breaths you can easily correct, you'll see. Go ahead!

  • well i like it alot but tuesday im singing it for my school on honors night but i cant make it sound really operatic is that what allstate wants do they want the operatic effect?

  • I love this song,sebben crudele...In your submission horrible!

  • Keep your mouth open, instead of spread. It makes you sound more like a women instead of a little girl.

  • mio dio..Io sono italiana..stai zitta

  • +o(

  • First off, Learn the fucking words!!!!

Second Off, Stop with all the fucking breaths!!!!

    Third off, You are iight.

  • that is very rude its a good song and she does it well and if you try to sing this song you would probably have to take all the breaths to its a song where it is very hard to find places to breath i probably take the same amount of breaths if not more so just back off

  • is really beatiful song you do so well :)

  • i'm singing this song for contest tomorrow and one thing my teacher told me was to work on my breathing. you need to carry over your phrases! but you have a beautiful voice!!!

  • vibrato doesn't mean its operatic...its the style of voice

  • hey good job two things work on breathing and tall mouth on high note but awsome job that can be a hard song

  • Comment removed

  • not very operatic... actually, not operatic at all. did you learn this by yourself? :\ get a vocal coach.

  • It doesn't have to be operatic...In fact, my voice instructor told me not to sing it with vibrato..it just depends on how you look at the song. She was good...just needs to work on variations.

  • vibrato=/=operatic.

  • you have a very nice voice but youre breathing ruins the song a bit. dont breathe during the phrase. also there isnt much emotion behind this. i had to do the same song.

  • awesome dude.

    work on your breathing though.

    i had the same solo.

    whatd you get dude?

  • This was two years ago, but the year that I auditioned with this piece, I got a perfect score, 10.

  • @forevrnluv247 good cus it was perfect. that person that posted dosnt know what they're talking about

  • Très belle voix de mezzo. Attention au vibrato. Travaille ton souffle (yoga, par exemple), afin de tenir plus longtemps et de ne pas couper tes phrases. Continue et bravo !

  • You have such a nice voice :) But you need to do something with your breath, for example ss-ss-ss-ss-ss-ss, etc.

  • you have a very pretty voice, however you should work on pronunciation, as well as breathing. You're breathing in the middle of phrases. (I did that too don't worry)

  • sharp...on some notes but overall it was good im singing it for a solo ..im in choir and yer video gave me and idea how the wordsgo

  • you're not good

  • Your singing is good but you need to work on breathing techniques

  • If you raise you soft pallet then it will help you reach the high notes. Also, open your mouth a little. I don't mean show us all your tonsils but open your mouth and try to keep everything vertical. You seemed to be slouching a little stand up straight and keep your weight distributed on both feet. Other than that you are off to a good start.

  • Almost sharp on a few notes. Raise the back of your throat a little, it should help. You breathe in some awkward places. Why do you look so unhappy?

  • Because the song is expressing mourn because this girl loves someone who won't love them in return, but will continue to love them no matter what.

  • i agree with piasecznik

    very good

but proninciation is vital to this song

    besides that :) beautiful voice

  • You have a beautiful soprano voice! =)

  • I would like to repeat the breathing technique is vital, as well as opening your mouth. It will open your sound to its fullest capacity. You really do have a beautiful voice. Keep singing!

  • you need to slow the tempo on this song if you heard ceceila bartolli sing this u wld no

  • its a recording...

  • man you suck my wife can sing this song way better then that take singing lessons

  • Sir, isn't that rather cruel? Anyone who has the guts to do this, not only for a contest, and also put it on youtube for jerks like you to see, deserves at least CONSTRUCTIVE critisim.

  • Igore him, hes written it on loads of videos. I bet hes not even married :)

  • Wow, you're really good, I didn't expect this. If you want some constructive criticism, one thing you could still work on is your Italian pronounciation. Especially the r's. I know that every native English-speaker has problems pronouncing this the way Italians or Germans are doing it, but it's something you've got to learn earlier or later.

  • You are amazing=)

    are you mezzosopranne or sopranne?!

    =)

  • its probably sapranne :)

  • you have a nice voice!

  • not bad :) but if you're a lot better now, i'd love to hear you sing "sebben crudele" again!

I sung it aswell a few years ago :)

The CD which is playing in the background, is it the CD from the book "schirmers library of musical classics 'twenty-four italian songs and arias' "? if yes, I learned with that book too :)

    greetings from germany

  • what is the name of the song you have playing before and after you sing? i know it from somewhere but i cant remember where and the name of the song

  • The song is Mozart's 'Requiem'

  • Thanks

  • youre actually playing the piano??? wow, you sing very good AND you play the piano at the same time, NICE JOB!

  • She is not playing the piano - there is a CD that comes with the book that has the piano accompaniments for all the songs in the Italian Anthology.

  • wow your an idiot LOL. theres a part where she clearly lifts her hand to move her hair back...with the piano still playing to make my point a bit more clear.

  • shutup. i wasnt even paying attention to the video. i just saw the first 5 seconds then i left the video on while oppening a new tab to go to facebook. i clearly didnt see that she pulled her hair back. in the beggining it looked like she was playing the piano.

  • oh okay...idiot

  • the only reason why you are calling me an idiot is because you dont have anything else to do but go around youtube and ruin people's day. go get a life you stupid idiot

  • wow really? i ruined your day? im flattered. Thank you cause you jus made my day...lmao wow you must be an emo kid to let a couple words on your computer screen get to you that much...go slit your wriste idiot.

  • and ur probably some mentally retarted 40 year old guy sitting in a wheel chair alone in ur house without a family. i never said u ruined my day. i said PEOPLE'S day. learn how to read. and by the way, u made my day too, cuz u dont know how to make good offensive comments

  • rofl and you are good and offensive comments? oh you must be cause you jus summed up my life story witht hat childish 40 year old remark. well ill tell you this i have more intelligence now than you will ever gain in a lifetime. rofl idiots like you make me laugh. your so stupid that you dont realize how idiotic your last comment was. but its okay go ahead and thing you posses at least a little intellect....but trust me...your a retard.

  • Comment removed

  • Aww, come on guys, lighten up. It will all be ok. There's no need for hating. "All you need is love". I never even noticed this converstion till now. And no, I'm not playing the piano, but it's ok. It's a simple mistake to be made. Thank you, and have a nice day. ^_^ p.s. llamas rule.

  • @windextor05 and you are an ASS. who do you think you are? she is just a girl with a great voice. go away

  • @windextor05 ops. ok if that last thing posted i thought u were being rude to her

Enhorabuena.

  • Your singing half RnB half Classic technique. Your Using no body, no real crescendo, every phrase is the same. Because of the missing body your faster notes are not correct and under the tone. But you got a nice voice so keep working the technique^^

  • Im singing this song for my region peice this year, great job :) heres a few tips: I noticed during the long pauses where its just the piano playing, you wern't breathing in during the pause you just took a quick breath before you had to sing, make sure you breath slowly and calmly during the pause, the breath will last you a lot longer and make your voice sound more full. also, the pronounciation. you did a great job though :)

  • you need to work on getting the words out and pronunciation. also breathing

  • Pronunciation needs a little work.

  • you're pinching on all of the high notes and breathing every 5 seconds

  • For people learning this song I have taken the time to record the accompaniment and I have sheet music available for FREE! Keep singing :)

    ~VocalTechin a.k.a Krystal

  • Ok, here you go hun. Firstly, open your mouth more, and practice yawning on purpose. It helps you open up your throat more during singing. Secondly, with your music, pre plan breathing spots, and mark them in, constantly think about when and where to breathe. Other than that, not bad at all.

  • horrible breathing!!! XD

  • u soung good but work on not breathing every 2 bars.try phrasing more.work on taking in more air and letting out as afast as u can.trust me it works.

  • For my taste a bit too fast, but that's the playback. Needs sometimes more ritardando.

  • Very beautiful! I love how you switched up the ending! At least..it's not the version I'VE heard of. I like it a lot! (:

    5/5

  • i love this song im sing also for a consert in my college... i love ur voice u need to work just a lil more in ur breathing.. u breath to much... check out my videos...

  • You have a beautiful voice and I am also singing this song for a competition for choir in this key. You need to work on your breathe more though. Breathing in between words is not good. Especially the long phrase " Sempre fedele ti voglio amar" with the double bar thing. That should be sung in one breathe. Other than that, great job. Sorry, my choir teacher said this to the class because that is the one mistake people always make. Great job though!

  • my jaw dropped right away... im singing this song for a contest but my teacher only has the lower version so i got screwed... i love the high one better though... you sing it very well and not too theatrical... awesome!!!

  • hey, i just wanted to let you know that i love both videos and anyone who has given you critisism must be crazy! i am singing this song for nyssma and u have truly inspired me. I love your voice so much and u have an amzing talent

  • wonderful singing =]

  • We are singing this in our choir for our LGPE (large group performance evaluation) and it's a really interesting song to sing, ♥ singing this song

  • that sounded great!!!!!

  • You are honestly amazing! I have to sing this song on march 17 for regional contest and I'm really nervous! But to tell u the truth I like the first version of ur song than the second! But it was beautiful nonetheless but keep singing deary not all of us are blessed with voices like yours that's why we like listening to them lol oh yeah my name is loni I'm a junior in high school.....so yeah....

  • Beautiful :´)

  • EVERYONE PLEASE READ!!! Any criticism you have to give, I ask that you please go to see my latest video, "Sebben Crudele Revised". If you've given criticism, I also ask that you please see this video. It's me singing this song recently rather than a year and a half ago, so please watch. Thanks ^_^!

  • someone obviously has the 24 Italian Songs book.

  • You have a beautiful voice just look emotional when perfoming to get people engage :) Other than that keep singing my friend!

  • Well done, that was good, you have a very nice voice but I couldn't help noticing the italian pronounciation. Try listening to people like Cecilia Bartoli sing this because it will give you an idea of how to really pronounce it properly. When I first sang this my pronounciation was awful but you can work on it and you have a lovely voice, well done!

  • your voice is nice BUT you hurry and sing the song faster than you should other than that good job (thumbs up)

  • that was really good

    nice voice :)

  • lovely voice, if a little breathy. But everyone has a little breathyness. Breathing could be improved on, and I don't believe what you are singing. Engage your face, or you will bore you audience.

  • your voice is absolutely stunning, best version ive heard of this song

  • my teacher told me if i needed to take a breath while i was singing that part sempre fedility voglio amar to take my breath after voglio instead of before it :)

you were toallt amazing and i am super jealous lol

  • Excellent tones. All I'd say is to watch out for going to sharp, and of course breath control. Don't forget the dynamics and make sure you bust out those forte notes.

Other than that, excellent job. To everyone that is trying to crap on this girl's har work, stfu and learn what you're talking about.

  • Sorry, umm im singing this song right now for my school, and next year and the year after that i will be trying out for my local GSA. Please, dont tell me what im saying. seeing as you know nothing about me.....

  • For now, since it seems like you may not have the breathing stuff working out for you, id go ahead and try the song much slower, and make sure your breathing through your stomach, later you should be able to take it at this speed.

  • Gran potencial!

    Muy bonito.

  • what key is this in? is it e minor?

  • work on ur breathing. your good. but you need work

  • You should control your breathing...

  • Damn woman learn how to breath before u make a vid like this...

  • second that!

  • you could be a bit more constructive that was rather rude

  • thing is im not much of a choir teacher...but i do know what sounds good and what doesnt...and this sounded good all i said was..."damn women learn how to breath" didnt say she sounded bad at all

  • it was just the way in which you worded it i spose that sounded that way my appologies

  • hey do you think you can post a video of you singing Amarilli, mia bella. im doing it for a show and i would like to here your voice with it and here dynamics.? =]

  • a baroque piece well it is really a classical but anyway your breathing and emotion would be so much better. I like how you perform it though, I do it as a baritone solo in C minor, I'm about to do it for grade 7 ABRSM, and my teacher Rosemary Barnes is really good and picky, I'm a bit like that. You're really good. I'm just trying to be helpful :)

  • I like your voice, you missed the trill on stan car at the end of the con la verse. The ending wasn't quite right you went up on O not A. Breath support, personally I don't think vibrato was bad, just breath before ti not after, it's perfectly acceptable to take that breath. Personally I don't like the ornamentation in the last verse that you put on, but if you are going to do it, make it strong. Your Italian wasn't that bad I could understand you. For breathing I'd take it slower I know it's

  • wow. your really good. gotta love the saprano voice

  • Tiene una bella voz

  • it's actually not bad.

    the only thing u hafta

    work on is ur breathing.

    but ya, good job though

  • Try to control your breathing.

    You did this:

    "Ti -Breath- voligo armar."

    When its suppose to be:

    "-Breath- Ti Volio Armar.-

    And watch the notes.

  • It was good, but I couldn't understand you. I mean, I know it's Italian, but I couldn't hear any "s" or "t" or "r" or "c" or any letter for that matter. All I heard was notes. A little overboard on the vibrato, too. Too much vibrato and you sound like an old lady singing in church at the top of her lungs.

  • respect!

  • What are you saying??? Work on your diction, your expression and your Voice!!! oh... GO TO SCHOOL!!!!! That would be Great, Get a Voice Teacher!!!!!

  • ne pas respirer entre "ti" et "voglio"

respire avant le"ti" sinon tu coupes la phrase.

ouvre plus les aigus! sinon jolie voix!

  • You do have a very lovely voice. You need to work on your breathing, however. You only breathe at a period, comma, or rest. It's something to remember for next time.

  • dont forget the double consonant rule. sebben. take a slight break after se- then go to the bben so it sounds like se-ben same thing if you ever sing Vittoria mio core. vi-toria. besides that everything was pretty much said that i was going to say. it sounded a little lazy to me, just by watching you i could tell you can do it much better than this video. keep up the hard work and good luck in the future

  • Oooh, what a beautiful vibrato you have!

I keep listening over and over to learn your technique. Hehe....

  • don't breath in the middle of the sentence, you always breath before the "voglio", that is WRONG.

    Try to improve your breathing

  • Excellent, excellent job!

The only advice I can think to give you is to work on your breathing. I sing this song as well, and I've noticed little breaths in places there not supposed to be (i.e. between the "ti" and "voglio"). Just be careful about that, and you'll be fine! You have a lovely sound, and you have a bright future ahead of you. ^^

  • yes! this is great! i had to learn this song last year for districts and you did great! there were some breathing in the wrong spots but magnificant. now im learning danza, danza, fanciulla gentile and its HARD. i dont think i can learn it. its soo fast.

  • the e makes an eh sound a open your mouth a bit make the sound more open and freer

  • Im going to sing this for my School Of The Arts audition.

  • You have a BEAUTIFUL tone I think what you need to work is opening your mouth and really enunciation your words. Because I knew the song I knew what you were saying but I'm not sure others knew.

You have such large potential keep working!

  • wow ur amazing! i have to sing this song solo for choir and im almost as good as u but not quite lol

  • yoor great!!!

    gorgeousX2 voice!

    lol

i sang this for Solo Ensemble at school...

    =]

[i feel like my comment isnt...

    sophisticated enuff... eesh. hehe]

seriously tho yooh effing rule! =D

  • wow!!

your voice has sooo much potential!

jut make sure your vowels are tall and you get enough support on the higher register of your voice!!

    lovely otherwise!

  • I love the tempo you took! Its very cool. Its different. Most of teh time this song is sang with much less energy behind it. I love your high notes. They are so clear! Good for you!

  • I just want to make everyone aware of this b/c I want people to realize that I recorded this a year a go. My vowels are now OBNOXIOUSLY tall. I still have problems with support, and I know to sing from my diaphragm. I do indeed do this, I try my hardest, my body just won't allow me to do it correctly. I think it has to do with me having horrible back problems and with me having breathing problems from terrible coughs I get each year, but I'm working on it.

  • the tempo is very fast in my opinion, try to use more the diafragma and to open your mouth so your voice has a better projection..anyway good work!!!!

  • you are great! im learnin this song right now but a tip... if u stand and sing with ur diaphram u will get such better air support! im 15 and i love singing opera and italian, great job, u will deffinatly go far!

  • Thanks. Yeah, I would have stood, but I didn't have a place to put the camera so people could see me singing.

  • this song is beautiful! and you sing it beautifully one tip though like "emoitalian" said you should open your mouth wider and i can tell you have a stronger voice SHOW IT GIRL! lol don't be scared of what your capable of, and listen to me when i say your voice is beautiful and your facial expressions couldnt be more serious and fit better with this song. Keep up your wonderful work.

  • you have a beautiful voice but work on your accent.

i can completely tell you're not a native italian speaker.... but maybe that's just because i am one.

    idunno.

    still i beautiful voice.

  • you have a very mature full voice. its absolutely wonderful!

  • your nose is retarded

  • Umm... thanks...? Because that isn't random at ALL!

  • Open your mouth.

It's hard to show diction with higher notes.

But it sounds like just notes, not words.

    Still very beautiful.

  • Heeey! I sing this song too! See, all the cool people sing it. Anyway, first thing. Open your mouth! I know in your head it sounds great, but none of the sound is coming open, and definitely enunciate more. I can understand what you're saying because I know the song, but... just always enunciate. General rule of thumb, I guess. Also, phrase it. Crescendo to the top of the phrase and then decrescendo. Also, crescendo on anything longer than a quarter note *nods* Have fun!

  • Yeah, I sang this back in November of 2007, so I've definetely learned a lot since I've recorded this, so I'm aware of all of these things. Thank you for the tips though ^_^.

  • try to keep your mouth more open and try more breath support, especially on the high notes, and work on pronunciation to make your voice sound even better than it already is :]

  • awesome but on the "la tua fireza" don't put so much weight on tua cut off of it quickly

  • No comment... congratulation ;)

  • you are a gorgeous one! And what a voice you have!

  • not bad but (broken record) u need mkore breath support n try it slower!! otherwise billisimo!!!

  • I have to sing that for a performance tonight, and am very nervous. Personally, I think the tepo could have been a bit slower. It sounded like you were rushing to get the words out. I know I had the soundtrack from finale by my music teacher, and I found it very hard to sing at the tempo you were singing at. I think that some of your breaths were odd. You need to make your breathing fit to the song.(As my teacher says) Overall it was really great.

  • bravo...

  • i learned this song liek 2 days ago and from personal experiance if you had more prep time to prepare this song it should have been much better.

  • more practice and work on your words because its hard to understand your languages

  • Try to sing this beautiful piece slowly.

    Your voice is very nice.
